These are Amazing for Snorkeling!
I love these fins!! As an adult I don’t grow out of mine, however, I keep having to purchase different sizes as my son grows. Nevertheless,, these are my go to long fins and we carry them on trips where we know we’re going to snorkel. I have bought him all sorts of kits that include these plastic and also short fins, but they just do not work as well as this brand. These just are the quintessential snorkel fin that you need while staying afloat. I became exposed to them while at my gym when I was first doing swim lessons. So ever since then I have invested in these for both my son and I. I usually put them on with a water sock to prevent blisters. I like that these you do not have to ratchet them down to size and have your toes sticking out. So as long as he keeps growing, I will keep buying these because these are amazing.

Good fit, very durable
The basics:Update, they finally had a split in the corner of where your foot goes in, after 3yrs, 3 months, not bad for an item used almost every day in heavily chlorinated water. I just ordered a new pair, I love them.Update: months later they have stretched enough to feel more comfortable, seem to shape to my feet. If yours feel somewhat snug at first just hang in there.•good fit•seem very durable•easy to useEditorial:I’m a size 11, bought the x-large (red and black) My foot is fairly wide, high instep so they are a bit snug in the toes, I’d prefer that than too big and sloppy. I wear a pair of very thin no-show socks to reduce friction. I’d bought fancy water socks and they made it very hard to get the fins on, save your money, buy no-show socks. The fins don’t have a left and right so I put an R on one that I’ll always wear on my right foot so as they stretch they’ll hopefully be more fitted to each foot.I’ve never used fins, I thought they’d be awkward and hard to get used to, not so! I love swimming with these on.

Size way off but order up and then they are great.
This was my second attempt. These are just what I was looking for but a full size larger than I normally wear. I sent the first ones back as it was like I was Cinderella's stepsister trying to shove my foot in her glass slipper. So... I would give it 5 stars if the sizing was remotely accurate. I am a women's 9 to 9.5 and originally ordered the large, which should have been fine. These are great but not at all too big, considering it is an XL and is described as fitting "Female 10-12". Last thing to note: when I tried it on at home, my bunions were rubbing and I was concerned about them hurting, but in the water I didn't notice that at all.
