I think the first question that everyone asks when they see a product like this is: how does it hold up to real honey? The texture and thickness are very close, but the flavor isn’t so spot on. It’s delicious, but it definitively tastes like an apple-flavored honey. I found it quite enjoyable, but if you’re looking for an exact honey alternative, this ones not quite there.I’m disappointed to see, as of this writing, it’s currently unavailable on Amazon. I hope this makes a comeback, and preferably in a larger jar and at a price point more similar to genuine honey.

I love this brand. I used to buy it in stores like Sprouts or Ralphs but they apparently didn't sell well enough there because they are no where to be found anymore besides online. Plenty of my friends complain that this "honey" doesn't take like the real thing, and I agree, it's not exactly the same by any means. And it doesn't do the same good as bee's honey does for your throat when you're sick. But if you want some sweetness to your tea in the morning but not pure sugar, this is delicious. I've tried other alternatives like D'vash date nectar and sweet potato nectar and this is SO much better than those. Those taste like straight dates or sweet potatoes, which isn't nice in tea. Bee Free Honee has a slightly apple-like taste but is really nice and sweet and the perfect addition to tea. Recommend!

I bought this product while watching shark tank for two reasons. One reason was because all of the Sharks seemed to like the taste. The other reason was because of helping the bees.After receiving it, of course, the first thing I did was open it and take a taste. Believe me, the Sharks weren't lying! It really does taste like honey... With a tiny bit of sour ... Kind of like a kids candy... "sweet tarts" or something. I want to make sure you understand I don't mean in a negative way it's just got a little bit of a touch of a tartness that makes it so much better than regular honey.Sorry honey bees! I still love you, but from now on if I want something for my tea, this will be the product that I use! Like I said, yumm!

As I've gotten older I've found that I've gone a little off of honey. When I was a child honey was a special treat. The golden syrup of the Gods. But now...it just gives me gas. So I heard about Bee Free Honee and gave it a try. There are many flavors to choose from, some taste just like honey, some taste a little bit either side of honey. I like the Slippery Elm. I enjoy it on the weekend with my oatmeal and almonds, coffee, reading the paper, and the dog on the couch next to me wishing he could lick the spoon. Now if there's gas...I blame the dog.

I LOVE this product! This is a delicious alternative to honey which stems from bee exploitation. Pollinators are on the decline, and humans are to blame. This honee isn't just delectable, it saves lives. Seven years vegan for the animals and our planet. I've used agave syrup, brown rice syrup, sweet potato nectar, date syrup... all kinds of alternatives to replace honey, and while they're all good in their own right, they don't compare to honey, but THIS DOES! It's also organic. I couldn't ask for more. It's perfection. Try it!

I've been trying to take out any and all bee products from my daily life, honey being one of them. which I loved and missed so I looked in to alternatives but they weren't the same. I found this bee free honey and decided to give it a try. It honestly a great alternative. My mom tried it and said it had an gross after taste but I didn't think so. It does remind me of honey and it tastes great. I've used it in my tea and on my food and I don't notice a difference. Best bee free alternative I've found and it's good for you. Also nice that it's free shipping for prime!.

I started eating vegan a little less than a year ago, but one thing I loved was peanut butter and honey oatmeal. I was trying to find alternatives for the honey and this by far has been my favorite. It's a bit tarter than honey, but only slightly. It still gives me that perfect consistency and taste I was worried I would be missing.

Tastes like apple juice in honey form. I work in the ER and this reminds me of when we mix thickener into apple juice to give to patients with swallowing difficulties. It’s not bad, just tastes like apple juice. Would probably be very good in certain recipes or with tea. 5 stars because it tastes pretty good and I support the companies attempt to promote a healthy vegan alternative to honey.
