I love these Energizer PRO260 series headlamps. The LEDs are a big improvement on the older models with clean super bright light output and are very suitable for multiple outdoor uses. That said I always exercise a strict personal light discipline when in the field only using the minimum necessary light to achieve the task and preferring to use a low detection red light if I use any light at all. With this in mind the red light is the first in the sequence of lights and can be turned on and off on its own without going through the complete sequence of white lights, which is ideal for a low personal visibility in the field. These lights are also very affordable. The headband is a separate component and not built into the unit as was the case with older models so when it ages and loses its elasticity it can easily be replaced. I'm a big fan of having lights and headlamps stashed in multiple locations including kits, go bags, field kits and vehicles, or on the bedside cabinet.NOTE: I have noticed that these headlamps tend to chew through batteries at a much faster rate than the older models but that is a small price to pay for the higher and better quality light output.

The Energizer High-Powered LED Headlamp Flashlights is just as I expected it to be. The head band is soft and comfortable to wear and can be adjusted to a perfect fit around the head. This really comes in handy because no hands are required which makes it easy to get a task done. The other day my power went out and the first thing I went for was Energizer High-Powered LED Headlamp Flashlight it has 7 different modes first one I used was the spot high which lite up the whole room perfect timing. It's nice to have all the different modes the red is perfect for night use time use it allows others to notice you if you break down or need help, high, low, spot low, wide high, and wide low all work great and come in handy depending what I need them for. The battery has a long life usage which a reliable power for me. I also like how durable the front lens is I have dropped it several times and have not shattered the lens, the headlamp can also be adjusted up or down!

Great for hunting

Heals up well on my son’s college camping trip. Bright light and many settings of brightness. Easy to use the buttons and the strap was well made for the price. Great color! Very light and packable.

The elastic band works well to secure the light to your forehead, leaving both hands free to carry items, walk two dogs at once, or work on a car. We don’t have lots of outdoor lights, so these are very handy. My husband kept “borrowing” mine, so I bought a second one for him.

10/10 Brought it on a 3 night backpacking trip and it lasted the whole time, then brought it on a 2 night camping trip months later same set of batteries and it lasted through too!

This head lamp is simple and lights your way. It’s a great headlamp. Sturdy mechanism keeps the light pointed where you want it to point.

I’ve owned this now for about 9 months, and will likely never use a flashlight again.It’s got a comfortable, adjustable head strap, multiple brightness and light pattern adjustments, and you can adjust the angle of the beam from straight ahead to right at your feet. Once adjusted it keeps its setting, but is easy to adjust. The night vision is a nice addition, which I use around campgrounds when doing things late at night so as not to high-beam people trying to sleep.It’s so convenient I bought one to keep in my car - and now look upon those using their hands to hold flashlights with pity. Now I AM THE FLASHLIGHT, free to use my nimble digits for pointing, using tools, clapping, snapping, jazz hands, or anything I’d like.In addition to its function, it’s constructed with thick, durable plastic, and maintains battery life for some time. It’s been dropped, banged, hit with tools, etc., multiple times since I’ve had it - and still works like a charm.Not recommended for those who “don’t know what to do with their hands” in TV interviews, because you’ll be paralyzed by the dearth of options.5 stars - buy with confidence. It’s a durable, functional light that does just what I’d hoped.
