Great value!!!
This is a very good value proposition for practice drumsticks. You can then use the more expensive drumsticks for gigs and auditions.

Updated: The tips are very poor
I'm updating this review. The information below still applies, but let's add that the tips on these are horrible. As others have noted, the way they are secured is very shoddy; so far, almost 1/2 of them that I have used have lost their tips the first few times I hit a drum head. Underneath the wood simply ends. There's *nothing* there holding onto the tips except poor quality glue. Conclusion: Don't buy these. Period. My original information:Size/Weight:I noticed that while these are the -size- of the 5B sticks I have, they are closer to the -weight- of my 7B sticks. The weight was the important thing, so I've been using them anyway, and planned to write notch my review/rating due to what I thought was improper labeling by the manufacturer. The sticks are clearly marked "7BN", so I knew there wasn't a mistake with Amazon fulfillment. Before writing this review, though, I thought I'd double-check that I was right about what the differences are. According to Wikipedia, the values are as much about weight as size. I'm glad I did that! If the size is important to you, you might look elsewhere.Irregular Tips:I do have a small problem with these sticks, though. This is mitigated by the bargain-basement price, but the nylon tips are a little irregular. Many of them have dimples, and there are a few which have enough of a seam that I am going to shave/sand them before using, to avoid too much wear on my drum heads. Some of the tips seem like they won't last long, also, due to the wood underneath seeming a bit fragile.Summary:They are cheap sticks. If that's what you want - and if the "7" weight is what you want, rather than the typical size - then consider these.

broken within moments of use....
The nylon tips are comming off within moments of use and the sticks do not last that long. I am disappointed with this purchase. 8~(

Wood is solid, tips fly off
I bought these sticks because they were listed as 7B. I had never heard of 7B before (still not sure it's a 'legit' size) but it sounded perfect -- 7A is too light but sometimes i want something lighter than 5A. I'm not sure these are actually 7B, but what they are is fairly light yet thick. I find that I am pleasantly adapting to the feel. The durability of the sticks is actually pretty good, and I'm a hard hitter. The weak spot, however, is the nylon tips; they fly off eventually, sometimes after just a few minutes of drumming. The quick and easy remedy is to glue them back on with wood glue or epoxy. Then they work fine. For the $, these are worth it IMO.

Listen to the Reviews
I thought maybe, just maybe, the reviews on this were a little off or that the users just got a batch of bad sticks. - I was wrong. These drum sticks are terrible, just awful. 2 of the sticks the tip came off on the first hit.... yes, the FIRST hit. They feel like brittle particle board ready to break at a moments notice. Are they cheaply priced? Yes ... but they are even cheaply made. A horrible investment. Do not buy.

Crap sticks
These may be the absolute worst sticks I have ever used- in a one hour session, 9 sticks lost their tips and 5 snapped in half. You would be better off buying wooden spoons...
