The Knitter's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges

Well organized book
As someone who has knit for some time but didn't know much about sweater construction, I wanted a book to learn that. The book explains the different sweater types which is broken down into chapters for each sweater type (drop shoulder; modified drop shoulder; set-in sleeve; saddle shoulder; raglan; seamless yoke). Each chapter gives the number of stitches/increases/decreases etc. you need based on your gauge to knit these sweaters in children's and adult sizes. So the math has been done for you. Each chapter also gives you different neck options for each type of sweater. I think I will learn a lot through making some of these sweaters and in the end will have a better understanding of sweater construction.

Great book
I've had this book for years. Just bought one for my daughter. It's is great to allow you to design your own sweaters or alter a pattern you already have. The multiple guages allows you to make any yarn work.
