They are soft an rather like a house shoe with a sole, do not rub or chafe. I wear a nine very narrow I could have used a half size longer but they are soft enough it is alright. If you have wide feet they will not work as they run narrow.

I bought this pair of shoes in exactly 1 year ago. They still look like they did at first. They are light and comfortable. They hug my foot perfectly. The size was correct. They are quite flat so I do not wear for jogging. They are my "go-to" walking shoes. Definitely will buy again when needed.

Great shoe for regular everyday activities. For any sporting, like power walking for example, you would want a more solid shoe with better arch support. These are very comfortable, but order a size bigger than you normally wear.
