Perfect cosplay costume. Size was accurate. Looked exactly like character Joy

I received my costume quickly and couldn't be happier. It fits well (size S) as any dress I pull off the rack at Macy's and is of typical costume construction. Just perfect for a Halloween party. I don't understand why some women complained about the quality. I'm a very picky shopper and this meets my standards. After all, it isn't supposed to be something you wear to the office! For that kind of quality, you would have to pay $50 more. The fabric is well-made polyester and I've hand washed it, drip dried without any problems. I have an average sized head and the blue wig fits fine right out of the bag. I will probably buy a wig head and stretch it a little more, but having worn a "Lucy" wig for a musical production last year, this one is actually very comfortable. I will probably have my beautician "tweak" it for me. Please count me as happy and full of "joy" with my purchase.

Comfortable and fit perfect

I really like the Joy costume that I purchased. I bought the dress size large - 12/14, and it fits as expected. The wig is cute; perhaps a bit small. There was a lot of white glue-like substance in the wig that made it very stiff. I first tried using my own shampoo to remove it, as I wrote in an earlier review. That seemed all right, but there was still a lot of the glue. Last night I soaked it in cooking oil, which loosened the glue enough that I could comb through to remove it. Afterward, I washed with Dawn dish detergent, which has really improved the look and feel of the wig.

I tried it on and fitted too big and the hair on the wig is too hard, it seems that has some glue on it. Now I have a challenge on what to wear...

I bought this for my 11 year old daughter as she does not fit in kid costumes anymore. It was perfect. She loves it. We have had one slight tear at a seam but she wears it pretty regularly so that was not a surprise. The wig took some practice, but once we figured it out, it looked cute and stayed put.
