Boonie Hat for Men Women Sun Protection Breathable & Foldable Fishing hat for Men

Okay, I'm going to start by telling you this hat is not perfect. However, it is absolutely worth the price they are charging for it. It seems to be well made. I've worn it hiking in the Colorado Rockies more than a dozen times with no issues. It repels water just fine. Keeps the sweat from rolling into my eyes. Fits well, but this is where it's not perfect. However, it has a drawstring which I use to cinch it behind my head to give it a more secure fit, rather than under my chin. All in all it's a nice hat and I would buy it again.

I wear this in South Florida. In the hot sun and torrential rain. I cannot beat this hat up! It does it’s job with no complaints. I have many hats this of various style but what differs in this hat particularly is the brim width. Most of these hats the wide brim is a bit too wide and the boonie style hats are way too short. This one is right in the middle and I really love that. I can pin it up or leave it down and either way it’s functional and looks great. I read that this hat is way too small or way too big. I’m a large 7 1-2. Fits perfectly. Also, great for deflecting those cancer rays. As far as color, I’m glad it’s a neutral military. I wear both ACU and OCP. This hat does blend with both.

Mine was a lot more faded than the picture, or the review pictures. I think mine may have been printed while the printer was low. Doesn't go well with my ocp gear as intended, but looks alright with my acupat. I included a picture with a hunting jacket for reference. However, still giving four stars because of excellent quality. It repels water, it's thin and cool but still tough. I think the fabric is rip stop, but I can't confirm. It has the square pattern in the fabric that usually indicates this and has the same nylon-y texture as my BDUs. Anyways, great hat for the money. I'll definitely use it.

Post Update!! The company contacted me because of my post about receiving a poorly made hat. They corrected the issue by sending me 2 additional hats that were correctly made. I’m very satisfied with these hats. They look and feel great! I really like the light weight material. The American Flag looks great! Thank you for reading my previous post then going above and beyond to address this issue. They also said they will make sure better quality controls are in place. Thank you so much! The hat I received was properly packed. I received it very quickly. The flag has the proper stripes on it, and it fits well. I wear a 7 1/2 and I can pull it down low over my eyes without it feeling too tight, but it is a little snug. When wearing it normally, it fit fine. It holds its shape. This is a good hat for hiking, beach, gardening, etc.

This hat was a good purchase in my opinion. I have tried several expensive brand names with little satisfaction and they always wind up in a box or the closet collecting dust. This hat was spot on for comfort, without that stiff awkward brim portion not sitting right on your head. The durability and material does not appear cheap having some thickness that does not make it too hot to wear. I have added it to a small list of hats I wear all the time. The sizing was a little large for me but I have a smaller dome and find this to be a persistent issue anyway, it was a simple enough fix with a little paracord cinching. I will be very interested to see a future model of this with a velcro square where the flag is located for my own pick of advertisement, that is not a complaint but a hopeful suggestion that I think will be a popular choice.

It’s actually 65% poly and 35% cotton, which is why it shrunk and no longer fits me. Otherwise it’s nice hat.

It just looks so good on him! This is the 3rd one I've bought for him. First one went flying off his head while boating (he didn't take advantage of the draw string)... He still has the 2nd one, but I saw this in my previous orders, and still available and great price, so I got another one just in case :)
