Fat squishy self-adhesive tape
I like this stuff to seal gaps around a window air conditioner. It's big and fat, squishes down to form a good seal, has adhesive on one side -- ideal, good value. Buy several rolls!---I guess I ought to admit that this stuff has VERY LITTLE adhesive -- you'll want to pin it between an AC unit and your window. Not sticky at all.

I used this product for a window A/C unit. Makes a good gap seal for an A/C installation. Easy to form into any small gaps and does stay in place with its adhesive backing. Made the installation of a window A/C unit quick and easy.

Good products. Adhesion could be better.
Have used this before. Works very well but adhesion not so great. Had to prep surface I was sticking it in with some contact cement to improve adhesion. Hard to find this high density even in the box stores so ordered it in Amazon.

Good tape
This tape was interesting to me when I first got it. It was way thicker in width than I thought (but that was own fault as I don't know measurements). I had to unwind atleast half of this tape and I just cut down the center to fix this problem. The tape was sticky as I did this, but it had to be done (for me). Then I applied it to only one side of my doorway and the top (because when I applied it to both sides of doorway, it would not shut). The tape stuck to the side and top but some spots it didn't look like it was sticking too well. So I pushed it again real hard. After I was done, there were still some parts not sticking just right. However, over the next 2 days, it settled in and now is stuck to the side and top of my doorway perfectly! It just needed time (and at first for me to push on it a couple of times after first applying it). Trust me, it works, if you work with it at first.Also, it really helped with dampening the sounds from outside my room, that I hear.*And do not worry if you touch the sticky side of this tape ALOT before applying. Because that's what I did, and it still stuck fine in the end result.**Just make sure, you clean the area you plan to apply this tape to.
