Love these!
I’ve bought 6 so far. The last three I ordered, they started to use screws, which I actually prefer. Easy to assemble and looks greats in the garden! Will be ordering more in the near future.

Great price! Impressed with the quality
I purchased one of these to see what the quality was going to be like, and if it was good, I am starting a backyard rose garden. I am going to put these up against my fence and stack them side-by-side. My husband isn’t the handiest person at building things/woodwork plus he also works way too many hours and long hitches, I did not want to ask him to build me 8 plus garden beds. This is a win win for me and for him! Haha. Be careful and gentle when assembling, I can see how the item could have cracked like I’ve seen in some of the reviews. The wood pieces do not slide into the premade slots super easy, it’s very snug, but if you use a hammer or a rubber mallet to gently help push it down, it will work. I am very happy with this and I plan to apply flaxseed oil to seal and protect it. I will definitely be purchasing more!

POOR Quality
Poor quality, corners can NOT hold up to wet heavy soil. All of the corners have come apart.

Nice Garden Bed!
* I would have given it 5 stars, but the price jumped significantly from the first one I bought and the second one. Still, this was the cheapest one I could find. This bed is made out of cedar, so it's going to last a while outside, unlike other raised beds I have bought. You could also paint or stain it for additional protection, if you choose. The planks slide into place. There's nothing to keep them in place, so it will not hold up to moving. Also, the end caps sit atop a dowel. The kit included basic school glue, which will not hold up to the elements, so I didn't bother. I suppose you could screw them on or use Gorilla glue if you really wanted to.There's plenty of room in here. It took me 13 bags of soil to fill, in addition to my plants. I planted 2 rows of peas and 2 rows of radishes in one side and 12 strawberry plants in the other. As I planted early, I have had to cover the bed up on some nights. I used a clear shower curtain, cut lengthwise and it covers the full 8 feet. This bed is highly recommended! I wish the price would go back to what I originally paid when I first bought one ($69) because I would definitely be like at least 2 more!

Cute But be careful when you put it together.
Cute little garden bed. Directions are wonky as the type is on top of the illustrations so it’s hard to read, but it was easy to figure out eventually. The wood is pretty flimsy and one corner piece splintered into pieces I mean - we barely tapped on it. My friend had to get a bunch of wood to secure an entire section. Now it’s not as cute because it’s been modified with some old funky wood so that it wouldn’t fall apart. My other raised garden bed was made by myself with railroad ties. Those are much sturdier of course. When you were putting this bed together, be very very very careful as the parts will break very easily, especially the corners. I am happy that it’s in my backyard where nobody can see it.UPDATE November, 2022. You would think that this garden bed would last more than two years. It did not. Today I went outside and four of the sideways slats have busted loose and dirt and my veggies are spilling into the ground. The garden bed is on a level surface, and yet it continues to fall apart. I have spent even more money on repair wood and nails and screws than the original unit cost. I wish I had built my own garden bed, instead of buying this kit. It is falling apart and basically worthless. It no longer looks like the original bed, as there is so much patch wood on all sides. If I could get a refund, I would have, after a few months. Now I am stuck with a patchwork quilt of a garden bed. My homemade garden bed that I made from scrap fencing looks 1,000 percent better! So disappointed. Update. I am headed outside to rip the raised bed that I Purchased and throwing it away. Since day one, it is started falling apart, and I keep patching it over and over again the wood is rotting all the pieces fall out the joints, fall out the end pieces in the corners fall apart. It is a ridiculous waste of time, energy, and money. If I could still get a refund, I demand it. What a ridiculous waste of effort. I’m ripping this stupid thing out and throwing it away. I’m gonna build my own raise bed out of used fencing material like I did in my other gardens which it was stand 10 years and are still upright and in great shape. This ridiculous item lasted about three months before it started falling apart. I’ve patched it so many times that I’ve wasted even more money on wood. In other words, if you have a good luck with this great, but I sure as heck didn’t.

You get what you pay for.
This is a very good price for a large raised planter, but the quality is not amazing. The wood is very low density low quality pine with many imperfections, damage, and lots of splinters. Assembly was not difficult, but you need to be very careful not to split the flimsy wood. Also each piece of wood is stamped with a letter to aid assembly, which can be a cosmetic issue if you do not want that visible. I recommend painting or varnishing the wood or it will not last long outside, considering it is very thin, and also to cover cosmetic issues.I don't regret buying this but I wouldn't buy another one after seeing the quality (unless shipping was free). I will be surprised if it lasts more than a few years outside.

Definitely Recommend
I have brought 3 of these garden beds so far. I took and built a 8x4 garden bed by not using the "inside frame" only using the "outside frame". Now having 2 of the garden beds side by side with complete openness has totally changed my gardening this season. Easy to assemble. I built a very strong under platform bed (if you will) using 2x4, 4x4 and 1 sheet of plywood which holds all the soil (10 bags of organic soil and 2 bags of cow fertilizer, oh and 4 containers of nightcrawlers). My garden has never grow as fast and good as it did this year. I completely 100% believe that is due to the foundation I stated with, the raised bed garden. I will be expanding and purchasing more!
