Goldilocks
I have the Nano S3, this mCPx BL2, and the Fusion 180. Each has its strengths, place, and problems. I am a novice to intermediate scale rc pilot, not a 3D advanced pilot, so bear that in mind. The Nano is so small, that it is a joy to fly indoors, and super crashworthy! But the outdoor performance is compromised by the slightest breeze. It’s horrible flaw is the super short lifespan of its lil brushed motors. The motors are grossly overworked by the collective pitch main, and when they are going out, they ruin your batteries. The Fusion 180 is scary fast and powerful, for outdoor use only. Some people claim it is docile enough for beginners, but I disagree. You need room and skills, because it doesn’t keep flying after a crash like the Nano. The mCPx BL2 is the sweet spot. Reliable, powerful, long lasting brushless motors. I can fly indoors if my family and pets are not there. Why? Because the head speed is much faster than the nano, making safe shut downs take much longer. Outdoor performance in the wind is amazing, maybe even better than the 180! Flight mode 2 is blistering, just like the 180, scary. Doesn’t crash like the Nano, but nothing does.

This particular Heli is a decent beginner model.
This Blade Helicopter is a Nano S3 on steroids. Flight is ok in both "beginners" mode. But in agility mode it hovers like it has gps and can be touchy, but that can be fixed via controller. If the Nano S3 is a good fit for the newbie, this is very similar. I consider it a good purchase. Side note: it comes with extra blades, but make sure you order an extra set of blades and a feathering shaft.

It's not like it's predecessor
I was expecting it to be like the original with tons of power and sounding like a angry wasp.If you're new to RC helicopters this is a perfect helicopter...Is very smooth not very intimidating. I have several helicopters, I thought this was going to be one of my favorites but for now it's just collecting dust... thinking about selling it.

This brand is always a good bet!
I like this little rc helicopter. I gave it 4 stars because I was hoping it would be a little more powerful at it's price point, but I am still happy with it and it is fun. I can tell it's durable. I definitely recommend this little rc helicopter for anyone looking for something like this.

Great little heli.
Love this little bird, fly's great, perfect for a beginner or pro pilot. I did add Microheli swash plate, shaft, main gear and Angry bird canopy. I liked it so much I bought an other one for back up.

Okay
Bought last one (at that time) as a gift, came in with broken parts. The receiver was able to purchase parts and repair the helicopter by himself but it wasn't a perfect gift.

horrrrrrrrrilbe product ...
I have owned several nano's ... and other blade helis, not sure if it is just a quality issue or what but seems like they are just no good anymore ... the last Nano S2 I bought was a bad main board, it would only bind some times and when I put it in flight mode 3 is just went crazy ... but they would not replace the board ... with tax and shipping they cost more than $70 ... there are other much better options out there OMP M1 is a much better alternative, it has real servos, aluminum head, and just much better built.

Blade mCPX BL2 BNF Basic
Easy to bind with DX9 (Spektrum upgrade v. 2.07). Stable hover, smooth cyclic movements and cyclic pitch. Don't know about 3D because I am an expert yet. Not test about crash durability yet. The tail fin seems loose when it got a hard landing even on carpet. The instructions on the manual in order to bind it and the DX9 (v. 2.07) don't match on the Channel input.I think it's easy to bind and control than Blade Nano CPS for a beginner (Z mode).Good and acceptable product! Keep up good job HH!
