They do exactly what they should.
These babies are good tungstens! Use them for any tig set up for small, precise work AND they fit micro pulse arc welders for the jeweler out there. Way way way cheaper than the tungstens you get from jewelry supply spots. I use micro mix for everything. AC or DC tig, and micro pulse arc on sterling silver and gold. They work really well!

These ball up so clean on AC
Good tungsten easy to sharpen. Haven’t had any problems.

One of my favorite all around
My two favorite Tungsten’s are this and CL LaZyR. Both are rare earth mixes and work well on both ac/dc.

My new fav
It is noticeably a much harder tungsten than any other, you will have to cut it rather than breaking it if using a short back cap.Arc seems much more stable and definitely holds a clean point longer. It also balls up very nicely and keeps it. Works very well on aluminum and steel with my Lincoln transformer machine with no bells and whistles.I typically use E3 and the advantages listed above alone will yield a longer life span alongside a crisper arc and restarts.

Great tungsten
I really like this tungsten , it keeps a point really well at high amps on aluminum and steel!!!

Worst tungsten I've used.
Split, spit and wouldn't take 175amps.... Something is fishy.

Did the trick
Used for some aluminum welding, seemed to work fine. Which color you use seems to very by the project and the welder.
