Coffman's Shorty Slip On Exhaust Muffler for Honda CBR500R CBR 500-R (2013-2023) Sportbike with Blue Tip

IT SOUNDS BEAUTIFUL!!! The stock intake, as many have said, on a CBR500R sounds like a pissed off sewing machine. After installing this system (which took literally 5 minutes,) my bike sounds so much nicer. It sounds dignified. The only way that this thing is holding onto the exhaust pipe on the bike is the clamp, which is a little scary, and why the manufacturer suggests buying a rivet gun, drilling holes into the pipe and placing rivets in two locations to better hold the exhaust on the pipe. Personally, I believe it should stay on through all the vibration that might occur on the road without the rivets, but given how much money was saved vs. buying a much more expensive exhaust for essentially the same thing, it's worth spending part of that savings on a rivet gun, considering you can pick one up for about 10 bucks.This was the first mod I made to my bike. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Lots of other options out there for twice or more money. If you're looking for every drop of performance, maybe this isn't for you. But if you want a beautiful addition and a nice throaty sound, this is Coffman Shorty exhaust absolutely for you. By the way, if this pipe isn't loud enough for you (I don't want to wake my neighbors when I ride through at 2 AM) you can also take out the baffle. I personally didn't try for fear I would love it more and want to keep it off, and my neighbors would hate me.

I knew I loved this exhaust 3 secs after I fired up my bike with it on. Nice deep tone, sounds great at higher RPMs, the colored tip matches the rest of my color scheme perfectly, and you can just tell it’s a well made little piece. The only thing I regret is not buying one sooner.If you’re chasing volume, the smaller the pipe the bigger the sound. This one does not fall short (no pun intended) and I could not be happier with mine. I ordered during this crazy coronavirus time, it still made it within 2 days, shipped from across the country. And that came from Coffman’s directly, so they definitely have their stuff together.

If your looking for a shorty exhaust with some kick to it, this is the one. Easy to install and looks great. It compliment's my 2014 CBR500r nicely. I did a lot of research and didn't want an exhaust to be to extreme and this one doesn't. It has some noise to it but just enough for my liking. My stock exhaust was very quiet and I wanted other drivers to hear me.Update 6/13/17 still going strong. No issues with the bike using this exhaust. I am glad that I went with the black tip instead of the blue tip originally purchased. Customer service was excellent with the exchange of product. As you can tell I am shifting colors and going all black on my CBR. One recommendation to Coffman I know product placement/advertisement is important but I wished your logo was all black. But beggars can't be choosers this company have my future business.

Best item I ever bought on Amazon. I bought a 2014 Honda CBR500R and have been apprehensive about making mods because of the neighborhood I live in. But after getting laughed at even by kids because my motorcycle sounded like a whistle, I decided to step up my game. But didn't want to spend $500. Let me tell you, this thing kicks and rocks. My neighbors will just have to be mad at me. Installation took 5 minutes.

Very pleased with the aesthetics and sound of my Coffman's Exhaust (Blue Tip Exhaust). First aftermarket mod ever, installation was a breeze and the intructions were adequate. Have been riding with the new exhaust now on my daily commuter (CB500) for about 2 months now, no issues or discoloration.Great price point and a quality product.Again, very happy with my desision to go with Coffman, thanks.

This slip on exhaust met every expectation I had! I wanted something with a little more volume than the extremely quiet stock exhaust. With the baffle in it gives a perfect tone. Take the baffle out and you'll be waking the neighbors in the morning. Also it gives a great backfire/popping when downshifting if the baffle is removed. Overall a great product and looks clean on the bike!

So I bought this exhaust because I absolutely hate the sound of by stock CBR500 exhaust.This little slip-on automatically cleans the bike look and makes it sound much better.Took me 15 minutes to install. It's perfect.
