Can be beat for the money when compared to items costing double
Can be beat for the money when compared to items costing double. I wanted a chest pack with removable strap since i want to clip it on the chest of my backpacks. Seems pretty well built. the one thing I did find odd is the door on the fly bed opens to far for me, so it would dump out any loose flies. I fixed it by tying a knot in each of the limiting strings.

This pack is great though a bit smaller than I expected
This pack is great though a bit smaller than I expected. It will work fine for fishing all day if you only carry a small variety of flies. The mesh pocket on the front will hold one or two rolls of tippet, the small zippered pocket can hold about 30 flies or 15 streamers and a couple packs of leader. I was able to get two small fly boxes in the bigger pack and there is an inside zippered pocket for my license, a few strike indicators, and some floatant. I am also able to hang my stats and nips on the outside, so it is great to go light and cover a lot of ground.

Just What I Was Looking For!
this is just what I was looking for in my minimalist approach to fly fishing. Small enough yet big enough to carry what I need, looks well constructed, affordable, and very use-able.Glad I purchased this neat little pack.

Poor quality/missing parts.
Pack came in without the foam insert that is used to attach flies. Pretty critical item. This is not Fishpond quality so don't expect it. The work table opens up so wide that anything inside would go straight into the river. It is also really lacking in attachment points and feels poorly made. I may be able to make due but I wish I had spend the extra $ for the real thing. missing parts shows that not much care was put into fullfilling this order. It may be going back.

Nice but disappointed
Mine arrived without the fly patch and though I got a replacement sent quickly it didn't have one either. Otherwise a nice pack comparable to the name brand pack that looks almost identical for almost 3 times the price.

Nice little pack
Used it several times and I really like it so far. Seems well-constructed, especially for the price. Pack was as pictured except for a slight difference in placement of the logo. Dimensions are about what I expected (9" x 5" x 4"). I wanted something that would hold my phone, camera, a small flybox, keys and some tippet for quick trips to the creek, and it's working great for that.

and is comfortable for hiking into the bush with as well
It works for what I need it for. I can fit a box of flys, tippet, snips, & leatherman. The folding pocket in the front has proved worthless for support, anything with any kind of weight will just slide off. I think if the draw strings were shorter it could act as a platform, but this was not the intent. It is just a place to put flys, and it works for that. I also wish there was some way to attach a small water bottle to it, but my flask fits snugly in the front mesh pocket. Overall I find myself using this more than my vest, and if I need more carrying capacity I take a camelback backpack. It is not cumbersome to fish with the backpack and this bag, and is comfortable for hiking into the bush with as well. This bag will slide around so I can access all of the things I readily need while never needing to take off the backpack. I'd get another if I needed to.

Love, love
Love, love, love this pack! Great build quality and plenty of space for fly fishing day trips. The best part is that brand name carbon copies cost 3 times as much!
