We bought this watch for a special occasion for our son. It is simply gorgeous in design and the packaging can't be beat, so it's a lovely gift as long as you set the proper expectations for handling and link removal. At my first attempt at removing links, I broke the tool. I had to take it to a jeweler who broke a link trying to remove it and it had to be glued. Once we got past that, it is so light my son forgot he was wearing it and got many compliments. Then the face popped off. Customer service for help was tremendous and they even sent us extra supplies. After my son broke a link again playing volleyball, I tried again to remove a link and this time really took my time and went slowly. The problem for me was that it was hard to determine which side of the pin the head was on; if you try to push out the wrong side you will fail and if you force it, the wood cannot stand up to the pressure. This time, if I encountered resistance such that the tool prong started to bend, I gently straightened the tool and tried again from the other side. With all this trouble, you might wonder why I scored it so high, but it's simply the overall value outweighed the issues: it's beautiful and different, customized just to our liking, and supremely lightweight. I would order it again.

I bought this watch because I needed a strong statement piece, a sort of male jewelry. This piece certainly fits that bill: its chunky profile, contrasting light and dark tones, and highly visible grain make this piece noticeable and popular. I’ve gotten several compliments on it, ranging from the striking color and unusual material, to the fact that a wooden watch seems unusually apropos for me, a construction worker. People seem to really like this watch.As someone who works with wood, I liked the simple, uncomplicated design. It has a simple, geometric design, not busy or complicated, but sober and uncluttered. It has no lettering or numerals, only embossed tick marks for the hours and minutes. (The manufacturer’s mark is engraved in the face, but not painted or stained.) This watch looks clean and organic, something a lumberjack or backwoodsman might wear into the forest to keep the crew on schedule.The mechanism is a quartz movement, meaning it has a battery, and doesn’t need to be wound. But it doesn’t look like the high-tech wonders that people wore on their wrists a decade ago, before our phones became our main timepieces. It doesn’t have ornaments, like date, water resistance, or barometer; it just keeps good time while looking simple and clean, like something your grandfather would have worn, back in a simpler time.Please be aware, this watch sells with a band deliberately too large for most people. They expect you’ll adjust it downward. It comes with a tool intended to push out the linking pins and let you adjust your own watchband, but mine bent the first time I tried to use it, and I needed to take the watch to a local jeweler to finish the adjustment. That only cost about five bucks, but it needed to be done. You probably won’t be able to wear this watch right out of the box.

My son love this watch as a gift for his birthday. He has gotten lots of compliments. I did take it to a professional watch person to have the band adjusted I did not want to risk damaging the wood band.

I love watches. I normally spend much more on a watch. But surprisingly I get more compliments on this watch than my expensive ones. It's also super light and that's awesome it's like your not wearing one. Also comes with the tool to pop the pin to resize. It's real wood.

My son loves his new watch.It is very light and my son likes using a nice watch when he is not working.I would not recommend using this watch while doing anything too physical, because it would be easy to damage this beautiful light weight watch.

Just got this in the mail today. Didn’t take very long to arrive. I was very pleased to inbox this and see what a beauty this watch is! I bought it as a gift for my nephew who graduates next month. I was able to custom engrave a message on the back. Although the wood is a bit dark in the back, it is more than I expected for the price. I actually just ordered another one as a birthday gift for a special friend!

I got it for my husbands watch collection and he likes it. It is very lightweight and the design is unique. Looks more expensive than it is

For a watch if it’s price it is better than expected. The movement is cheap but expected and functions fine. The best part of the watch is the weight it is the lightest watch I have worn it actually made it hard to change back and forth with others everything else just feels heavier after wearing this for a week. I would definitely purchase again and will be add to dash button for gifts.

Ordered this for my Husband on our wedding day. The company was great with communication and customizing the watch. It looked beautiful when it arrived-I was very happy with it. He wore it on our wedding day, then tried to wear it another day 'casually' because he loved it so much. He was carrying a box, the watch caught on it and instantly broke. I was able to jimmy rig it back together but it will not last-and he will only be able to wear it for special occasions/being careful.Love the watch-wish it was more durable.

This thing is almost TOO lightweight! I was expecting it to be a bit more solid. But it is good quality and my man loved it as a gift. It goes with almost everything and has gotten him a ton of compliments. Great value for the money. It came in a box that was easy to wrap for a gift too!

nice watch came with tool to remove links if necessary. came in a wooden box with foam watch holder. good value because my bf bought one retail in store for over $200.00 The watch face isnt scratched and the pull dial has plastic to save battery. (comes with battery installed) i just gave it as a christmas gift so not sure on durability. i found this watch almost 10 dollard less than the identical watch from with same company also on Amazon just look around before you spend more than necessary.

This watch is amazing. I bought it for a Father’s Day gift and it’s absolutely stunning and unique.The watch is super light and seems to have a great build quality. The presentation of the box and burlap watch holder is a very nice touch.I honestly can’t find a single con about this.I am flabbergasted on cost vs quality here. 10/10

Its so beautiful, and now all my uncles wants one !! I got this, not sure if it would be a good gift... and he loves it !! And the gift box is beautiful too. The watch is super light weight, and the wood grain is so beautiful. I actually got 2, for xmas gift. The second one was for a friend, but his boyfriend is wearing it because its soooooo beautiful !!
