Welcome to what my husband has named "creepy corner" because it is where my venus fly traps, pitcher plan, sundews and air plants live. I wanted some moss to pull it all together and disguise where I have some mister & drip tubes. This mixture was just perfect: hanging "vine like" moss, clumps of the more common creek bed moss, some bright green and purple "balls" of moss for dashes of color. Has really helped pull it all together. Have not noticed any running of colors so far despite getting wet. No fading after about 3 weeks in my greenhouse.

I collect maloss a lot for terrariums and preserve a little. You don't have reindeer (lichen) or Spanish moss here, though. Obviously the bright green reindeer moss is dyed, that and the other mosses have something on it that comes off on your hands a little bit. It's green, so I'm guessing it's the dye, but I like it the color it is so I'm not going to rinse it. I think this is normal because I bought some in the past from somewhere else and it dried out eventually, but then the reindeer moss became hard. Might be a preservative. Anyway, the green sheet and Spanish mosses are also dyed but the brown Spanish moss appears to be natural (and the whitish reindeer moss.)It's okay, depending on what you want to do with it. I'm obviously not putting this in a terrarium, because I'd be concerned about the dye coming off and I have live moss in there, but for a project that won't be getting wet, it's not bad (writing this as I unbag it.

What can I say? This Moss is awesome! If I do declare, it’s a Godsend! It’s easy on the eyes and you get a nice amount for the money. Go crazy and tuck it in your small clay pots for an enchanting and elegant look. This moss is the boss! The Wednesday Afternoon Tea Consortium members were simply blown away when they spied it tucked gracefully among the English Tea crackers I served. All and all, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

A neat package with great variety. I'm trying out all sorts of arrangements in my very large entry way. Using it in artificial plants, as accents to console decore, accents to rustic canvas prints, and filling glass hurricane lanterns with it then placing tealight candles on top of it. The green is very vibrant! Creates that rustic, coastal, shabby chic Pottery Barn look at a very low price. It has a smell that's not great if you stick your nose in it...after all it is dried vegetation....but it won't overwhelm your house.

Disappointed in the intense amount of dye used in this moss... I intended to use it for a land snail terrarium but when I moistened the moss, the water was instantly colored. The red moss stained my nails and sink.Would be great for a terrarium only housing plants, but I don’t want to dye my snails.
