It cannot be pasteurised! It wouldn't be sour then. You would ruin fermentation process and kill all Vit C, which is actually natural preservative.

Q: Can the seller, please, specify if this product is unpasteurised. This is critical to the this product as it is as a probiotic.

I suppose you can as long as you take it out of the jar.

No, this is not raw/unpasteurised sauerkraut. There is no live bacteria/probiotics. Although it is very tasty.

Quality stuff but

The jar is too big. Says on it ‘consume within a week of opening’. You can’t do that on your own or even two of you 😏 Please make a smaller jar.

Great Flavour; Very Healthy

This sauerkraut is great. It is made with juniper berries, so it has a very fresh taste. I bought several large jars of this sauarkraut, and since I took delivery of it, I have eaten it several times. Far more than I have ever eaten sauerkraut in the past. The price was good too; and the delivery prompt. I recommend this brand of sauerkraut without reservation.
