Not good for untreated water
The product is good. The only challenge is if you are using this to filter the bore well or untreated water supply, the mud sludge will get filtered eventually blocking the water supply. Basically the.sludge in the filter won't allow the water to pass. The sludge gets accumulated within first usage.. So not designed for water supply in villages where water is supplied from borewells or reservoirs which are not treated in a plant..

The filter is installed in the inlet of municipal water .Works fine. Easy to open and clean. At the connected pressure it delivered 800 ltrs/hour serving the purpose. The filter body is robust to serve long time.However the replacement screen filter cartridge is not available in market/Amazon. Inlet and outlet ports are to be checked from instruction sheet and to be connected properly. Overall quality is good .

UPDATE: Im updating the review after more than a year. It is not working as expected. Only big particles are getting filtered. I bought for filtering off mud from the corporation water but its not filtering mud.The product quality is good, there are no leaks and all. But the level of filtration can only be commented after few months. Considering the customer service, they were responsive at beginning but later nothing! I asked if this can be kept vertically and they told it can be done and to watch youtube video. According to me this cannot be kept veritically. As you can see how i placed it i made a deviation so that the filter opening remains downward. Only then you can remove it for cleaning. If it is facing upwards then when you remove it wont the filtered content fall in?? They did not have an answer for this but my answer is yes. So you have a work around by making it horizontal like this.Im using this for filtering the corporation water before reaching the tank. If you are using disc type then it can be easily kept vertical as the whole unit will be in the opp direction. When I asked about the difference between the two, they did not give an answer. I will update this review after few months. Hope this helps.
