Police Helicopter Operations Manual: Delivering air support for law enforcement

An incredible book
There is an incredible amount of detail and history in this book and the research that went into its creation is a phenomenal achievement. I'm not sure that I knew this much about police helicopters when I used to do the job. It is still a wonderfully readable book, though and while you might dip in and out of it like any other Haynes manual, it is also a great read from cover to cover.

Brilliant insight
A really well researched and informative manual. Very interesting insight into the work and functions of the Met Polices Air Support Unit and the work of Police ASU’s generally in the UK.

This is a thoroughly detailed and researched book
Richard Brandon was the key man formulating the configuration of the MPS Police helicopters. I worked with him at an early stage of the project and he a real detail person. The book reflects this!

What a wast of money!!!!!!!i
Bought this book thinking it would have lots in interesting things in it, but I was very wrong!!!I should have listened to another reviewer that said it was basically about the author, and he was spot-on with his description of this book.Too late to send it back now, I’ll probably put it in a charity shop or something…Don’t bother…
