A low cost Windows 10 & Skype plug and play webcam (great value, moderate video/audio quality)
I needed a webcam to Skype some events to a disabled friend. Given that such use is far outside the standard webcam focal length, I will not be considering its long-distance shortcomings for this review. Anyway:The Good:+Plug and play Skype recognition in Windows 10. Instantly worked.+The microphone was surprisingly decent for a camera in this price range. Vocals came through with minimal distortion. The Meh:~The stand doesn't "clip" onto anything--it is more of a balancing assist. Camera swivel-ability isn't bad.~The picture sometimes has to be manually focused using the cheap-feeling focus ring on the front of the camera; this being said, it is quite functional and meets my needs. NOTE: The need to manual focus is most apparent at longer focus distances. The Bad:-The control software (described as a driver) will crash if you use any other program that utilizes the camera. You need to use the control software if you plan on using the digital zoom--yet you can't control the zoom if Skype or other camera software is using the resource. The Verdict:This AUSDOM 1080P USB Webcam Network Camera provides moderate quality video and sound at a rock-bottom prices. Its lightning fast setup and plug-and-play compatibility with Windows 10 and Skype exceeded my expectations; I especially appreciated that third-party bloatware was not required for basic operation. I have no plans to replace this camera as it completely meets my web-conferencing needs, though I would not recommended it for recording videos for distribution.

Good cam but...
As a budget webcam, this camera is great. Video quality is pretty good for such a cheap cam. The main issue is the fact that it is manual focus. Although this would not normally be an issue, I have found that mine constantly loses focus - even when I haven't so much as moved an inch. I have to constantly monitor the cam feed to make sure that my image hasn't gotten fuzzy in the past five minutes. I'm not sure why it does this, it'll be sharply focused one second and then extremely blurry for no reason. All in all, it does what I need it to, but having to constantly monitor for focus is a real pain in the butt, especially when streaming. Good cam, but you have to know the focus issue going into it.

Suitable for low level to mid use apps.
While this camera does work in Windows 10,it does not allow all the features, the problem I had,was that I was NOT able right click the camera options to get the camera adjustments window ,which made things less then great, but that want an issue in few programs, but was in most,so I will try a few more cameras to see if I can get one that REALLY works in Windows 10,now keep in mind that Win 10 was not a fully tested program before release,so all the bugs need fixing as ya go,too bad they didnt work on them before its release.Oh,another bad part about this camera is that is is NOT auto focus.UPDATE---I tried this camera in a few more programs, and it really perform well in alot of them,so now I feel that this camera will make a general use web cam for most people, there is one app that I use where the video is always upside down and I have no way to fix it,that is until I figured I can turn the camera UPSIDE down just for that app, which will turn the video right side up,keep in mind you wont get a video as nice as watching TV,but it will be good for standard home use..So,I would now say go ahead and get on of these.

I read the reviews and actually watched one from a tech guy that was pretty detailed and helpful
I started back to college taking online classes at night. I needed a webcam for group work sessions with classmates and didn't want to spend over $50 on a webcam, after spending hundreds on books and even more on tuition. I read something online about how to not look ugly on a webcam and I decided that at my age, I should invest in something that would be HD quality. I decided to take a chance on this little Ausodom device. I read the reviews and actually watched one from a tech guy that was pretty detailed and helpful; I then decided to get it.Not only was I pleasantly surprised about the price and fast shipping, but I was impressed with the quality of the picture and how easy it was to plug and play. The camera itself is great quality. It actually has this softening effect on the lens that diffuses the light on your face and doesn't give you that harsh look with shadows and strange dark spots. It truly is HD. It was so simple to just plug in a start using. The people on my team noted that the quality of my camera looked much better this week (compared to when I used an old 720 webcam) and they could hear me better. That had nothing to do with the amount of make-up I had either, it was just a better webcam that helped me have a better presentation. If you're wondering if you should take a chance and get it, I would. It's worth it. I've had it for a week and used it with Adobe Connect, Skype, and Google Hangouts. It adapted to all of those software applications just fine.

The price is good if it works
Not really sure about this product. The price is good if it works. Shipping and packaging were great. Driver software loaded up easily enough. However, I am not able to get the webcam to work on my 64-bit desk top with Windows 10 operating system. Sent message to Ausdom Tech Support but no response yet. I guess we shall see how things go with this product...

The overall picture is great. This has a plastic lense
I have a variety of webcams. I grabbed this just to see how it compares to other similarly-priced units. The overall picture is great. This has a plastic lense, and for folks who've used webcams with a glass lense, you can "tell" the difference--but it's something which should not shy someone awayfrom a webcam at this price. The cable length was nice, and the included stand allows for lots of mounting/standing configurations. I'm using this in a Linux environment, and had no issues plugging it in and using it right away. For anyone curious, it offers a plethora of resolution and framerate options up through 1920x1080, more than other similarly-priced models, in both MJPEG and YUYV2.

Buena cámara pero...
Un excelente producto para grabar y usar en video llamadas, el único inconveniente que tengo con él es que se desenfoca muy seguido y enfocarlo de forma manual es un poco complicado, de ahí en fuera un excelente producto.

720p escalado a 1080p
