This cargo carrier is about as light weight was any out there. Sturdy and well built. My issues are the spacing of the cross slats. First, the spacing of the cross slats could be closer. I bought it to carry a mobility scooter. the smaller wheels on the front of the scooter got caught between the slats. The scooter has to be picked up to get the wheels out. The other issue I have is, again, the spacing of the slats. When you fold the ramp into the basket and fold the basket up, on the passenger side I can see the brake lights and on the driver side the brake lights are blocked by the slats over lapping.

It worked pretty good for about a month but now there are 5 welds that have cracked. The scooter is only 275 pounds so it is well below the max weight of it.

If you are buying this for a bariatric scooter or power-chair, I can not stress how much you should NOT buy this product. It has ZERO frame for tensile strength underneath it. I put this on my F250. I tried it out for both my power-chair as well as my scooter and it twisted all the way to the ground! It says it's rated for 500lbs, but anything over 75 will twist it to the ground. Please, don't waste your money.

I have a massive Kaabo Wolf king GT Pro and the rack fits it perfectly. Laid down or standing up. It has four tie down points. It’s of solid build quality. I’m a welder by trade. Where it needs beefy welds it has them. The slats are just tack welded but it’s fine. It functions as it should. I would take my scooters across the state with this no problem. 8/10 because it’s a little bit on the pricey side compared to the other ramps I’ve seen.

It’s a very nice rack and easy to assemble. Seems like quality welds and the like, BUT….There’s no way it’s got a 500lb capacity unless that’s a static load. I inserted it to our camper receiver and put our 220lb generator on the back and by the time we got to campsite it was nearly dragging on pavement. Assuming the capacity isn’t how I imagined it would be. Meaning I figured if something was for highway use and said 500lb capacity it meant it could hold 500lb without deformation on the highway. This couldn’t do half that unfortunately. I have a welder friend who thinks he can add stiffness to it but sucks when you pay $400 something that doesn’t act as advertised.

Exactly as advertised. Lightweight, large cargo area. Large mobility scooter easy to load/unload. Fit perfectly. Secure carry!
