Good budget choice in chaps if they fit you. They can alsobe reversed. Mine were a bit too short for my needs.

I'm 5'10, 210 pounds these would only work if your already wearing high rubber boots or something. Whatever they're build alright for the price.

These chaps look to be well made, with both snap and Velcro closure up the outside of both legs. The material appears to be substantial enough to keep rain out without being too heavy. However, because I intended to wear them with my rain coat while riding horses, the pairing of those 2 specific items appears to leave gaps in coverage. When combined with my rain coat and sitting in my saddle, they were too short to provide full coverage to my legs. Based on how high I attached the chaps to my belt, either my crotchand/or the tops of my thighs were exposed, or there was a gap between the bottom of the chaps and the top of my boots, which would allow rain to get into my boots. I returned them and will look for a different option.
