PetSafe 3 in 1 Harness and Car Restraint, Walking & Car Harness for Dogs, No-Pull Option, Adjustable, Small-Black

I bought a size medium for my 11kg cocker spaniel mix, it fits him well with room to adjust either way. We've previously used a kumfi brand harness, however found that it would adjust itself and work loose very quickly, so needed to be stitched up to stay functional. Nothing like that with the petsafe harness after a good few weeks of use. It's also significantly more padded and seems more comfortable. No chafing or anything, the underbelly/chest strap is adjustable which means you can get good armpit clearance too.We don't use the front-clip for stopping any pulling, so can't speak for that, but i do use it when working my assistance dog in busier, louder places where it's hard for me to speak. As it keeps the lead in front of him unlike a collar that can spin and gets weighed down with his gps tracker so the lead clip is to the side. the lead being in front of him makes it easier to for him to feel subtle changes in my movements in busier places when dodging crowds. in this sense it helps with heeling but he's already trained, it just helps us move together more fluidly in these environments.

I am very pleased with this harness. My cocker is an escape artist and it needs to be strong and secure. We have tried four other harnesses, this is our fifth, since we got him from the rescue centre and this is the first one that meets all our needs. It is soft and comfortable under the harness for him while being strong and tough. It has hooks for the lead at the front and back and it the harness itself opens at the neck as well as at the body. This is a drawback to many harnesses because how can you tighten the front securely when you need to keep sliding it over the dog's head to remove it?! In addition, it has the seatbelt slot for strapping the dog in to the car. Very, very pleased. Finally a harness that understands dogs. Get this one! PS: the reviews I read about not being able to tell the front from the back before I bought this are not true. There are labels on the front and back!

After searching many websites for 'the'best' harness available I opted for this one. My main priority was a harness that didn't rely on Velcro straps as fastenings. They never are secure after a few months. This harness seems to be well constructed with secure clips. I did find it a trial to fit it, the instructions say it's easy, no it wasn't, it was confusing. My dog was getting anxious, eventually I worked it out. I actually used dabs of different coloured nail polish to keep myself right. Time will tell if this harness is the one. Fingers crossed.

I bought the XS for my pup - it is a little big but a tight enough fit for him not to slip out of it. I have used it a couple of times for car journeys - he is happy wearing it and the attachable seatbelt strap gives enough slack for him to have a bit of movement while being restrained.

After buying too large a size several months ago, which was returned, I decided to try again. The fit is perfect this time, the harness is really easy to adjust for a good fit and seems sturdy so will not move once set.My young dog is a very active puller at times, especially near cars, but only wears the harness for the safety of being able to hold her securely with the handle. We tried this new harness today and she seemed so much more comfortable in it as its a very minimalist but functional design.

Can be adjusted and easy to slip on once work out which strap goes where! We keep one leg clipped up so know how it goes on.Have had to wash it a couple of time in the sink with some hot water and soap.

I have had this harness quite a while now and still find it like a Chinese puzzle putting it on my dog. Perhaps colour coding would help? Strong and well made with various adjustments for a decent fit. It can be used in the car with a safety belt for restraintI have tried using it with the lead attached to the back ring and the other end to the front and the dog pulled me all over the place so I am back to using it with one end attached to the back ring and the other to a Gentle Leader fitted over his head. Probably alright for a less energetic dog than my border collie.

When I first tired it on my dog I was disappointed because it seemed so flimsy and like it was going to slip…. But I bit the bullet and took him for a walk and I can’t believe how good it is! It didn’t slip at all (it was snug but not tight) and so sturdy. I used a double ended lead, i only needed to pull the part clipped to the front a couple of times lightly and my dog walked perfectly! He’s huge and a very strong puller so this totally blow my mind! He hates the halti but it’s normally what I have to use. This seems much more pleasant for him and he doesn’t rub it off constantly! Game changer
