This bed is lightweight and sturdy as well as being soft. I have a puppy that chews on everything so I researched long and hard before making this purchase to ensure comfort, ease of cleaning, and durability. This checks all boxes. My little guy does chew on it, but there's no rips or holes in the material. Excellent purchase for your pet. Just know it takes a while to get to the US.UPDATE 6/25/15My dog, who is 13 weeks old, tore a hole through the bed within the first couple of weeks and is constantly tearing fuzzy pieces off of the bedding. He now moves the bed and lays under it instead of on top of it. I switched him back to towels. He does not like the bed. I bought it after a lot of time researching safe beds for puppies. This one was marketed as indestructible, comfortable, and easy to wash. It's easy to wash, but the other 2 are not showing as true.

Absolutely love these mats. I ordered 2 of these for our disabled bun and they work wonderfully. Plus shipping was quick. I ordered them Dec. 16th and they showed up Dec. 23rd.

I have a 10 month old lab who is a major chewer. Goes through rubber toys in a matter of hours. He hasn't managed to destroy his bed yet, though. I am really impressed with how the water drips through it so he is not sitting on a wet bed
