Automatic Bottle Opener, No Cap Can Escape

Because the cap doesn't bend, you can recap your bottle by pushing it back on with your fingers!!! WHAT??!!*NOTE* There is actually a VERY slight bend that is just about unnoticeable unless you scrutinize it, BUT in comparison to other bottle openers it leaves you with an almost perfect bottle cap.CONS:1. Although the product IS portable it will not fit in the pocket of a pair of typical women's pants. Will fit in men's or women's cargo pocket or purse/backpack, though.2. I bought 2, one for me a couple years ago and one as a gift recently and even got it engraved (local engraver). This is an interesting bottle opener that people like and looks good on a counter top. It doesn't work on fat rimmed bottles. It does work for both twist off and pry off caps.As long as you avoid using it on large rimmed bottles it should hold up. Mine has lasted 2 years with weekly use. I did have the internal spring pop out of place when used on a larger bottle, but I was able to fix it and it still works.

Used the bottle opener 1 time and it broke. I would NOT recommend it. I would have returned it but I threw the packaging away.Updated:After leaving my first review the seller contacted me and offered a refund or replacement. I chose to replace and I am completely satisfied. Not many sellers would go out of their way to satisfy a customer on their own, and the bottle opener works great. I must have gotten a defective product the first time. I would recommend you try the bottle opener it is easy to use and I have found that is a great product backed by a great seller.

I normally do not leave feedback or review items but I felt I needed to for this one. I have purchased a few of these over the last year because I like the idea behind the item, which doesn't destroy the bottle cap when opening the bottle. However the spring that operates the mechanism is not good. I have had a number of them break after normal usage. That is why I have purchased a few of these. The last time I ordered this product I even ordered 2 just in case. They both arrived with broken springs and were unusable. Good idea bad product.

This is very useful device! Generally you don't think of the "bottle opener" as something that needs innovation, but this product is extremely easy to use. I purchased this because my partner had received a bottle cap display map as a Christmas present and we could never manage to get the bottle caps off of the bottles in a state that would actually go into the map; they were always bent or otherwise mangled. The opener works perfectly in terms of getting a bottle cap off without any damage. Surprisingly though it's also extremely easy to use and we've found ourselves using this opener out of convenience even if we're not trying to save the caps.The design is simple and easy to use. Probably perfect for folks who have a hard time gripping either a traditional opener or a bottle. The price was very reasonable and it turned out to be a great purchase.

This just generally a great bottle opener. I have plenty of friends who watch me use is and comment on how cool it is to watch me open a bottle by just popping off the lid. I've owned one of these before that was much more expensive but broke after I used it twice. This one has been used several dozen times already by us and it is still working perfectly. Another advantage is that when the bottle caps come off they are completely straight, not bent like when you use a prying bottle opener. It should NOT be used on twist tops as the mechanism isn't meant for them. It saves my hands from prying bottles open too. I know some people are champs at using normal openers, but I'm not. I love one pop and it's done!

Cheap Chinese plastic. It’s what you’d expect for the product and price, but I have no idea why they designed a thin plastic tab to break off. There is metal in this thing… why isn’t that tab metal? It does a good job of removing the cap without hurting it, so that gets it 2 extra stars. But it loses 2 stars for being so fragile.
