I've had this mat for over a week now and love it! I haven't had ANY of the problems others mention in these reviews. It came tightly rolled up. So I unrolled it and re-rolled it the opposite direction. I let it sit like this for a few hours. Then I unrolled it and laid it flat on the floor. It was still not flat of course, so I put a heavy book on each end to hold it down. I let it sit like this overnight. The next day it was mostly flat, but still curled up along the edges. I put my chair on top and by the next day the curls had all laid flat... and the mat was perfect. My chair easily rolls on and off. What I like best is the mat is almost totally invisible. If you look at my photo you prob can't even see it unless you look very closely.One thing I should mention... I saw somewhere in the instructions they suggest putting the smooth side down. I did NOT do this - it seemed the smooth side should be facing up. Anyway... it worked fine for me and I'd recommend this mat 100%.

I bought two a few months ago. One for each room. Both on hardwood. I have left one rough side up and the other rough side down. So far, the smooth side is staying in place better. The product description says the mats will lay flat after a certain amount of time. Mine is still curling, making it very easy to trip over. The durability feels great though. Its flexible enough to not snap, but thick enough to efficiently protect the floors. Not sure if i'd buy again.

This comes rolled up. The instructions give several suggestions for unrolling it and getting it to lay flat. Best method is to place it in your bathtub and cover it with hot water. Let it soak 10 minutes. It will then unroll easily. Take it out of the tub and lay it flat on a beach towel, for instance, and slide it around the towel to dry it off. Flip it over and repeat the drying process. Place it under your chair. It lays flat.This mat IS NOT for a carpeted area. It’s soft and will dent from the chair wheels and will also move around on you as you use your chair. If that’s happening to you, and you are using it on carpet, you didn’t read the product description well enough. It’s for hard floors. In that application, it’s adequate.

Perfect size for desk chair with more space to move around.

It is rolled up when you get it so you have to put weight on it for couple hours before it lays flat.

This thing won't stay in place! I have to fix it several times a day because it slides with the chair.

AZADX Office Chair mat(s) works fine on my new hardwood floors. I ordered two. They measure 36" x 48" x 3/32" thick..... however, I can not see/find a "LIP" on any edge of either mat. IMO, the lip would not make a difference as our chairs roll easily on and off the mat. There does not seem to be tripping OR slipping hazards either.Mats did come tightly rolled, but we did not have any problem getting them to lie flat after a few hours of being walked over.... honestly, we could have used them immediately. Chair wheels do leave 'pressure' marks on the mat, however, they do disappear after lifting the mat slightly off the floor. More importantly, there are NO marks on the hardwood flooring.I left a 4-star review because, as a Prime member, mats arrived 8 days after the 2-day promise date. I do not know where the shipping issue lies, but no explanation was forthcoming either!Regardless, I do recommend this product.

The amazing thing about this floor mat for hardwood floors is that you almost don't even see it! Will do a great job protecting our new hardwood flooring.

This chair mat is a great product for it's value. The mat sits very flat, and my office chair glides smoothly across the surface of the mat. If you need something like this, I would recommend it for sure.

The size is good, and it seems durable. The issue I've had is that I can't get it to lay flat...it is consistently bubbling up and getting caught under the wheels of my char.

it works well for the intended purpose. so far no complaint.
