Originally, I drank bottled water. The tap in my home was a little off and I typically wasn't a fan of it. However, I drink a lot of water. I've stopped drinking soda and other sugary drinks and water is really the only thing I drink day-to-day. After awhile, I got a little concerned with the amount of plastic that was being wasted along with the cost. Mostly, I was just concerned about the waste.I was looking for something that filtered water, maybe a water faucet filter or a filtered jug for the fridge. Came across this in a department store. I had not heard about filtered water bottles before and decided to check out the reviews. Reviews were great - so I decided to buy one on Amazon.Overall, it's a really great water bottle. Only one real complaint I have it that it's not 100% condensation proof, but it's pretty good - about 90%. If you have a lot of ice in there, it will wet. Otherwise, it's unnoticeable. Keeps drinks cool for a much longer time than a regular bottle, but doesn't compare to insulated products like Thermos. Keeps drink cool for about 1-2 hours until the ice melts.The taste is great. Turns my fairly good (quality wise) but strange tasting tap water into good tasting water. I have used this for classes on campus and at my work and it generally makes the water taste the same anywhere you get it from. This isn't going to turn swamp water into Dasani, however. But most public water is safe to drink, and this does remove chlorine and a few other chemicals typically found in public water, so it will remove that for you. So, it does create a consistent tasting water regardless of where to obtain it from (assuming it's not a swamp.)The bite valve get's a lot of marks. It's intuitive and you don't have to lean back to drink it. Strangely, as other have said, you'll drink a lot more water because of it.Water flow is great and you'll always get a mouth full of water. No air, just water.Typically, I drink about 3 of these a day. The filter is rated for 3 months, once a day. So, if you drink the amount of water recommend daily and this is the only way you drink it, filters will last you a month rather than three. 6-pack of filters is the way to go as it's the cheapest. Averages to about 3.50 a month for filtered water daily. Much, much cheaper than bottled water and much, much less waste produced.

I bought this on impulse. It's funny cause I'm never a water guy. It's always been soda. It's not that water isn't good, but a chilled coke satisfies my thirst after a good pizza or a long day at work. Water just never cut it, EVER! Until recently my boss was on vacation and no one was stocking up cups in the break room, at times I got really thirsty after a 10 hour day. Not to mention, as a pretentious environmental cautious person, I guess somewhere inside I was also against using styrofoam.My groove came in two days with free shipping. It was very easy to assemble even without reading directions. I rinsed out the filter for a good minute as I remembered reading and assembled it together. It tasted like clean water, although it was hard to tell since I was already using pre-filtered from my refrigerator. As I went through my first bottle and into my second I think I can taste a subtle hint of carbon from the filter almost like bits of sand. It felt like it was around my mouth which I have never experienced with water before. Onto the third refill, I have yet to experience this again. I guess the filter is broken in now.This might sound crazy, but I'm shocked that this bottle makes drinking water fun and addictive! The bite valve is super easy and doesn't spill as others have mentioned (at least I haven't experienced it yet). The water flow is also perfect not too much or too little, just a easy flow of water. Just a gentle bite is all it takes. I go through about two bottles of water a day now, when before I can barely drink half a bottle of water. Water is all I drink now and the soda cravings are completely gone as I drink from this so much just for fun.Okay, so the refrigerator water is already purified, but to put it to the test I got water from a tap. You know when you are served water from a restaurant that you know immediately that it's tapped and unfiltered? Yes, as a side job I work at such a restaurant. Being pretty familiar with its taste, I can tell you that this thing really works. Makes it taste like clean water and as I'm drinking it feels very smooth. No more chlorine, no more odor, no more bad taste.This bottle is as good as it gets. The insulation with water filled with ice can stay iced for probably four hours. You can probably stretch it to five, if you prefill with water and stick it in the fridge to chill the space in between. However if you do it this way, it will sweat on the outside. The space in between stays dry of course, so its not much of a problem. It's only natural that it will sweat if exposed to a sudden change of temperature.All and all this bottle completely changed my life. I'm off the soda routine, and I'm always hydrated. It's vitality in its purest. This seriously makes a good gift as well. It comes with me where ever I go, and it's not too hard to find a water source, as any potable water tap will work. Best impulse buy ever! Did I mention the accessories are replaceable such as the straw itself and the filter is pretty cheap?1 filter = 350 bottles of water2 filters = 10 bucksforever pure water = priceless!8 months later, my bottle started have problems with the inner flexible straw which made me lose suction and created a hissing noise. I couldn't get much water, but this thing came with limited llfetime warranty, and customer support was fast and effective. Got a new lid assembly in the mail and solved the problem. I recommend to not tuck your bite valve in and out as a habit, that may wear down your inner straw. Still a 5 star product in this newly discovered weak link, for it's hassle-free support.

These water bottles are great! I travel a lot for my job and make it through more airports/hotels than I like. This thing really pays for itself almost on the first day. I empty out the water before going through security then fill it up past security at a drinking fountain. Saves me literally hundreds of dollars a year on bottled water that I don't buy at airports and hotels.I will warn you that if you like to play with the drinking spout, pushing it down to lock it and opening it back up. Eventually the nubs will wear out, leaving you with a spout that is "up" all the time. I think the design of the cap could be re-visited and made more sturdy. The bite valve works great but will be a little tough to use when you first start. After some practice I actually prefer it to a straight pour bottle. The secondary benefit is that the water doesn't spew out everywhere when you get up to high pressure (flying) or if you drop the bottle.Overall I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone (it makes a great gift!). The only thing I could ask for improvement is the hinge nubs that hold the drinking spout "up" or "down" since they wear out.

Está genial. No se derrama, filtra el agua y la mantiene fresca un rato. Además el diseño es muy bonito. Quizás el tamaño se me hace un poco grande, mejor el de 600ml

Ich bin von der Flasche absolut begeistert, sie ist 100% dicht, hält stundenlang kühl und ist erstklassig verarbeitet.+ absolut dicht+hält mindestens 4 Stunden kühl+Wertung und sauber verarbeitet+kein Eigengeschmack vom Leitungswasser+nach einmaligem auswaschen kein kunststoffgeruch von der Flasche- bauartbedingt nicht für Kohlensäure haltigen Sprudel geeignet- leicht schwereres zugverhalten durch den Filter, stört aber nichtFazit: ich würde sie mir sofort wieder kaufen falls ich sie mal verlieren sollte oder sie kaputt geht.

I bought this after having camelbak products for the last two years. I work at a facility that has an ice machine, but not filtered water. This was the perfect solution for what I needed.

Initially, bought one each for myself and the other half. Yes they are over priced, but they are an excellent uality bottle. They also come with Camelbak's lifetime warrenty, just to show how confident the manufacturer is.Water stays cool or warm depending on your preference.Was so impressed, I ended up buying a set of the childrens version of the Camelbak bottles for both my kids.Highly recomended.

Habe mir mittlerweile 3 dieser Flaschen gekauft und bereue es überhaupt nicht. Dank des Filters schmeckt das Wasser nun umso besser. Ich nutze die Flaschen auf Arbeit, beim Sport und zu Hause und erspare mir so das lästige Wasserflaschen schleppen. Daumen hoch für den Hersteller.
