This grater is fine for what I usually use a grater for, grating a large bar of cheese. However for marinated slaw I have issues with the single, large-slot grater on the side. This grater is of very thin metal— too thin, in my opinion— and has convex outer surfaces, I assume in an attempt to provide strength for the under-gauged steel. But when I slid a head of cabbage on the single-slotted side for rough cutting, the side was just too weak and caved in. I had to resort to using the slightly smaller Cuisinart manual grater I had bought about the same time as this one. It has three side slots for rough cutting, and its flat sides are very strong, deflecting much less under cabbage load.

One of the best stainless steel graters out there!Comes with a container that fits to the grater while you are grating.The container also fits inside the grater for storing, which is a nice space saving feature.After throwing away those rusty graters over the years, this stainless grater just lasts and lasts. I have one that I have owned for a few years and it is holding up well and looks good as new. So when my son moved out and got his own place, he asked if I could find him a good cheese grater. Of course, I bought him this nice one. He is very pleased. Homemade Mac-n-cheese tonight!

I purchased this cheese grater online after doing a lot of research based on product ratings and comments from reviewers. My daughter, an at home chef, specifically requested a cheese grater as part of her birthday present so I took the advice of some of the reviewers and purchased the SuperEze grater.Well, my daughter LOVES this product. She was impressed with its quality and easy of used. She especially loved the handy storage container with lid to refrigerate any left over cheese! (Ha...we're French....like there would ever be any leftover cheese to store!) Also works great on root veggies!An added bonus is the product's Life Time Warranty! Not may manufactures out there can or will back their products like that anymore. Just remember to register your product online.Would I buy this product again in the future? Absolutely! This is an excellent product. I looked at and read reviews on several different ones. What sold me on the Cheese Grater from Super Eze was that it said it was Sturdy and Sharp Stainless Steel. It is very sturdy. It is exactly as advertised. The container that comes with the grater is very nice too. I was not expecting much from the container, but it's really nice. It is sturdy, seals well and holds a lot. The clean up was easy. We grated several different kinds of vegatables and they rinsed right out of the grater. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

I do not recommend this cheese grater. The sides are flimsy and bend when you grate cheese on them which makes it difficult but also dangerous. My husband cut his hand. Somehow the angle of the holes makes it so much of cheese ends up outside the grater rather than in the collector. The collector was dropped from the bottom level of the dishwasher and broke, not that it was useful to start with. And now the 3rd party company that sold it has been hounding us for a review via email for months.

I bought this for my husband as our cheese grater was so old it rusted into after over 40 years of use. (It is his job to do the grating.) After looking at several, I selected this grater and my husband loves it.But the email I received from the company, Super EZE, that sent this item is worth noting. I don't always give recommendations but after receiving this very customer oriented email, I have to comment. Their customer service is excellent and this email made my day for customer satisfaction.

This came in quickly, and is as described. Actually better, because although the picture does not show it, the box below the grater comes with a lid, and you can store what you grate into it. Also, when not in use, the grater box and lid turn upside down to fit up inside the grater for a more compact fit on your shelf. Product is superb.

I recently purchased the SuperEze grater. I have a large food processor but prefer to use a grater to shred carrots and cheese. This grater is study and well made. It was a breeze to grate my carrots for a salad and the same applied to the cheese. The storage container which fits on the bottom comes in handy. I would highly recommend this grater.
