Good product as a decent price.
This product works well for feeding my L. Reuteri yogurt prior to fermentation. It dissolves well if you sprinkle or "dust" it over some heated milk. It has a sweetness to it that is mellow and nice tasting. I do put some into my coffee on occasion but I primarily use it for my yogurts.

Pure product
I love this inulin FOS. I’m using this two ways right now. I’m using it in making L . reuteri yogurt and clove green tea as recommended in the book named Super Gut by William Davis, MD. I do not notice any particular taste with the product. It seems to just blend in whatever is going on in the pot at the time although I use the clove green tea recipe Intermittently; possibly more days a week. And the yogurt is fairly a biweekly venture. The value for the money is indispensable. I had eaten some bad chicken at a place I will not name and had terrible gut issues going on when I started these products. Gradually the symptoms subsided and I’m fairly normal now. I definitely have more Sustained energy by using the clove green tea with the inulin FOS product, but I think they all work together. The product dissolves very easily in water. When making a slurry for yogurt, I do have to stir it some to get it nice and smooth and then stir it in with the yogurt prep. I just feel better using this regimen for gut issues and maintenance. I hope the product will continue to stay efficacious. Thank you.

Don’t go gentle into that dark night
This FOS will do something to you for sure. Compared to Agave, a bit brusque. But don’t listen to me, I’m FOFOS.

Great for Dr. Davis yogurt
I never made Dr. Davis’ yogurt before. OMG !!! Every batch of Dr. Davis’ yogurt recipes turned out beautifully for me using this inulin. The texture was thick, creamy, and very palatable. I was so proud that I could make perfect yogurt. Knowing that it has way more health benefits then the store bought yogurts was a plus. I highly recommend this product for making your Dr. Davis yogurt recipes.

Not FOS powder
The product description is misleading. In normal English, "Inulin FOS Powder" means FOS powder qualified by inulin (like FOS powder hypothetically produced by breaking apart inulin and adding glucose, say). But this product is inulin with *maybe* a bit of FOS in it. The correct term for that is "Inulin *and* FOS Powder", assuming that there is more than a trace amount of FOS. If there is only a trace amount of FOS (as another review claims), the correct term would be simply "Inulin Powder". (I would think it almost impossible to produce inulin without at least a trace amount of FOS.)The fact that others also use the term "Inulin FOS Powder" does not make it right. The incorrect term must have been coined by a unscrupulous salesman trying to pass cheap inulin powder off as expensive FOS powder to less sophisticated buyers. Note that inulin is quite useless in promoting beneficial gut bacteria; its molecules are far too big for most bacteria. The one that is broadly effective is FOS.And if the product name is not misleading enough for you, look at how the ingredients are listed: "Pure Inulin FOS Powder (from Jerusalem Artichoke)". This is just a deliberate repeat of the misleading name of the stuff, so useless. It are inulin and FOS that have well defined chemical formulae, *not* "Pure Inulin FOS Powder". And since the two substances have very different properties, any *meaningful* description should list the weight percentage of the FOS. If a web page offered you a pound of wood and gold for $20,000, would you not want to know what part of that pound is gold?Note that this stuff is not returnable for "health reasons"; if you discover you have been fooled, the seller can keep your money as a reward. Even if you never took it out of the plastic bag containing the bag. (Actually, I find that if you make enough noise, Amazon *will* give you a refund.)
