Special Notes - Be extra careful working with the fuel inlet, the soft metal of the carburetor body can easily strip. Check the fuel system before bolting on the carburetor. Water, Dirt and old gasoline damage carburetors. Have your fuel system flushed or replaced before installing the carburetor if your vehicle has been stored for some time. All our carburetors are restored to the OEM specifications and final adjusted on a live running engine, you most likely do not need to re-adjust. Some people like to fine tune a little bit (such as the idle speed), that is okay, but if it runs well you don't really need to make any adjustments.
