The Lenovo Yoga 720 is a nice little laptop. I was working on for a client because it would not power on. Initial troubleshooting indicated the problem was either the battery or motherboard failure with the charging circuitry. The less expensive component by far was the battery to try to as a replacement, thus I ordered this part.The battery arrived securely packaged and delivered in perfect condition. It came with about a 2/3 charge which as I understand it is the perfect storage charge level for these. Unfortunately for my client and me it appears the issue was the motherboard and not the battery.I should note the detailed information and photos in the listing helped me be sure I was getting the right part as it appears there are 2 variations with different physical mounting attachments. I appreciate that pre-sales attention to detail.All indications are this battery functions perfectly and is reasonably priced. While it did not solve the problem this time it delivered what I expected and I think gets 5 stars for helping me troubleshoot this client’s problem.

Arrived on time and works

This battery worked great in my Lenovo Yoga and was easy to install. But after only 8 months of light us, it will no longer charge and my laptop is telling its bad and needs to be replaced. Very disappointed since I only use it unplugged for a couple of hours in the evenings.

Bought to replace battery in wife’s laptop that would only work when plugged in. Worked like a charm and can now use not plugged in after the battery is charged

Battery stopped charging in a week or two even with a new power cord. Support link leads to no where.Customer support did reach out and provided a full refund.

I'm very disappointed in this battery. I tried to follow the manufacturer's instructions and discharge the battery down to 10% before recharging, but the battery shuts down abruptly and without warning when it reaches 25 to 30%. It gives me about two hours of work time before shutting down and it gives me no chance to save work or plug in before the computer goes black. Don't waste your money.Update: I returned the defective battery and bought another of the same because it was the only one I could find for my laptop. Initially, it held a charge for two hours. Not great, but enough for my needs most of the time. Two months later, won't take a charge at all. Contacted the seller earlier today and asked for a refund. So far no response. Will update if I get a response.Update2: I added a star because the company did issue a refund, so at least they stand behind their products. I still cannot recommend the battery itself though, based on my experience.
