For $39, It exceeded my expectations. It's fast, fun, and does what it's supposed to do. The ONLY thing that bothers me is the steering response. But it's for my kids, so it's not like they care. Planning on purchasing the Jada RX7 as well. Drives well on any hard surface, recharging the battery is a plus, and fast (avg. 1hr). Turbo button makes the car do instant donuts. This is an amazing rc that I purchased for my little sister . She loves how fast it goes as well as it's ability to drift around corners and off the sidewalk .it's a durable and well made rc and would definitely recommend for kids .The life time even when the boost is used lasts a fairly long time .

other review(s) complained about "flimsy" body plastic; this as it should be! ALL rc car bodies are very thin plastic: to save weight and to be flexible in case of a shunt...so that it does not crack! Amazon listing did not reveal that car battery is "not removable" , as listed on box/instructions...actually CAN be swapped if inner chassis panel is opened by removing a few screws...have not yet checked to see if battery needs a disconnect plug installed. Extra set of tires are the same as tires mounted on car: both sets are very slick "drift" tires. Only major complaint is that top edges of all fenders rubbed on the tires; thought I would have to do a major re-work but after removing body (has non-standard plastic clips) saw that the 4 body posts can be adjusted to a higher position. Also, almost forgot: car has NO suspension; wheels rigid to frame.

My 12 year old has so much fun with this and the speed is great. He uses on the carpet outside patio, grass.

Good value for price, and surprisingly durable. My brother and I each have a Jada drift car, and we have reckt them into each other, and into walls. They still work perfectly fine after about a month of heavy usage. Great value for around $50.

This rc car is so cute! My son asked for this for Christmas, little did he know it’s now mine. So cute! Wish they had other characters.
