Rockville (4) RKL65MBW 6.5" 700w Marine Boat Speakers w/LED+Black/White Grilles

I just installed 4 of these speakers in a pontoon boat that I am restoring. I'm not a audio expert and know nothing about amplifiers and all that stuff. I just put these in and hooked them directly to my Kenwood marine stereo. I was blown away how well they sounded and I have at least 4X the volume I had with my old speakers with the same stereo! The only down side is the speakers are not flush mount so they pertrude out from the mounting surface. After installing, I realized the front edge of the seat swings down and hits the speaker when you open the seat to access the storage compartment under the seats. Therefore, I cannot open the seat entirely without breaking the speaker. It's just something I'll have to deal with to get some great sounding speakers.

I installed these on my center console boat without any enclosure they have great bass and great sound on little power only run off of a boss audio marine head unit and they sound great, though if you run more than 2 I would recommend running them off of rockvilles marine amplifiers

Speaker should just illuminate, not with just volume loud

After installing one of the speakers lights stopped working!

Paired with a clarion marine amplifier and boss in dash blue tooth stereo in a little boat. Sounds amazing!

Sound is ok hooked up to a Pyle 800 watt max amp. Not as much deep as I'd expect. The provided speaker wire is absolute junk. They'd be better off just sending the connectors to use your own wire. I've installed 3 of the 4 speakers and 2 sets of the wires had an open connection causing all kinds of troubleshooting problems that a better quality connection could've avoided. Luckily we had the knowledge, meter and tools to diagnose and fix the issue. Overall not worth the headache they've cause me so far and it's a 50/50 shot if the other provided speaker wire connection is any good.
