Good enough for most
Needed a simple rack so that I could continue lifting while the gyms were closed due to the rona.I picked up these stands, and I’m happy with them. I have a 5 foot long 1” diameter bar, and it works just fine.Good:They seem surprisingly sturdy and well built. Steel is thick enough, and I don’t have any doubts that it can handle 400lbs. These stands seem like they’re good quality.Good if you don’t have a ton of space. If you lived in an apartment, you could easily stash these away.Bad:Haven’t found a whole lot wrong with these. I’ve been using them over a month now and I’ve never had any problems. But if I have to nitpick:They can be a bit unstable if you use them to bench press. When you’re done with your set and you go to rerack the weight, you can’t slam it back like the bench at the gym. You have to carefully rack the weight, otherwise if you do it to hard, you could literally knock over the stands, and end up in snap city. The more weight you have on the bar, the easier it is to potentially do this. I keep mine against a wall, so worst case they hit the wall.I found that the lowest setting is a little bit to high to be able to bench comfortably, I solved this by putting a few sheets of plywood under my bench to raise the bench up.I also wouldn’t trust the spotter arms for anything other than an emergency bail out. They seem sturdy and well built, but if you were thinking of using the spotter arms to do shrugs or curls, I wouldn’t do that. Keep it for emergencies.Bottom line: this is not fitness club level equipment, but I don’t suspect anyone assumes that. It’s good enough for home use. Also, if you are planning on putting 450lbs+ on this thing, I would look into an actual power rack, I just wouldn’t feel safe using it for much over 400lbs.Oh and make sure you have a set of sockets and a ratchet and an adjustable wrench, if you do buy this. You will need it for assembly.

Great for the price...assembly is bit frustrating, though
Excellent for the price. Saves me a gym membership. I use it for squat, press, and bench press. It's plenty sturdy, although I'm not loading an insane amount of weight. A couple small issues. First, assembly was a pain because of the nuts they give you that have plastic seals inside. They REALLY don't want to screw on properly to the bolts. You have to have a lot of patience with them. I ended up assembling them over 3 days because I kept getting frustrated and couldn't take it any more! Also, assemble this with a partner if you can because it's hard holding some of the pieces while you screw them together. I had to get down on the floor and use both my hands and feet to hold pieces together while I struggled with 2 wrenches and those annoying nuts. Second, you have to be extra careful when using this for bench press, especially if you're lifting heavy. Your instinct when re-racking after a set is to slam the bar back into the rack, which catches the bar for you and lets it set back into place. If you try that with these racks, they'll fall over. You have to carefully re-rack at the end of your set. This ends up becoming another phase of the movememt, so in the back of your mind, you have to reserve some strength for the end of the last rep so you can rack it safely. This only applies to bench press, though. No safety issues with squat or press. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy and adaptable
I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a which stand to buy before buying this one. I started out years ago with a cap barbell and weights that I just added to as time went by and I'm way too far down stream to switch to regulation weights. These stands work perfectly for the narrower 1 in bar span... and my somewhat confined space. I had to fit them in a room with a large universal machine stationary bike, bench and large stand for free weight. The stands came package very well with a good set of instructions and the material was heaver weight than I expected. They were easy to put together and don't flinch in use. I'm 6' 2" and has all of the adjustment I need. Well worth the money.

Terrific Value
This is a great product. My son wanted something for squats and we needed something for bench pressing as the amount of weight he can lift now is beyond my ability to lift it from the floor and hand it to him on the bench! So, now he gets the best of both worlds in this easy and sturdy device. I thought we might have to weight the bases, but I don't think we will because the feet are spread out and the all metal pieces are heavy and sturdy for pressing and benching both. This wasn't hard to put together, but it takes a few minutes to get it all arranged. The instructions were simple to follow. And, it's not overly big. The two pieces fit nicely in the corner with the bench and our weights. Definitely use on a mat as the bolts on the bottom are pretty far out from the ends and could scratch something if you screw them in too far. To that end, make sure everything is tightened completely for safety purposes.

good for the price, but 3 stars for the setup
I really like this rack. I dont have as much plates to put on so i think itll do me just fine. It is important to know that I had a LOT of troubles with the nuts (i think thats what they're called). The nuts did fit the bolt screws BUT only part way. This is because the nuts have a plastic layer towards the end, and in order for this to work, you have to force your bolt through the plastic bit of the nut, which takes at least 2 wrenches. Being supplied proper nuts wouldve been nice, or you could go to the hardware store to pick some up for really cheap. But once you do that, you're basically set.

Clothing rack
Heavy duty mf metal. I use it as a clothing rack because I have these small closets that don’t hold nothing but decoration pillows. Pretty sure my room is an office not a bedroom.
