The Jackson X Series Signature Adrian Smith SDXM in Snow White features high-output humbucker pickups and a fast-action maple fingerboard, designed for musicians seeking both performance and style. This signature model embodies the essence of rock, making it a must-have for aspiring and professional guitarists alike.

This is a identical version of more expensive with different body wood and pickups.
I bought this particular Jackson guitar because I played one in a store and it had great neck action playability and it's one of two Jackson signature series models that has a Fender licensed headstock. Although this particular signature series is modelled after and is more than four times cheaper than the more expensive Adrian Smith signature series version, it is still more than just good enough versus the more expensive version. Other differences are body wood (this guitar is basswood while other is alder wood....whoopity-do!!!) and pickups. The only I might change (still not decided if its personally necessary!) is that I might replace the bridge pickup (leaving middle and neck pickups alone) with one of my personal favorite pickups.......the key point is this would be personal pickup preference costing only $80 more and is not a quality mitigation. The existing pickups are more than adequate. No regrets with this purchase! This is an excellent $499 guitar that is versioned after a same, more expensive $2200 version. I'm sure I would have loved the more expensive choice, but, the result is that chose the $499 version for my strategic reasons! I have no problem buying great guitar designs up to the $3000 price point, IF THEY ARE WORTH IT!

truss adjustment
for everyone complaining. loosen strings. take 3 strings from tremolo off. remove tremolo. remove neck adjust rod 1/4 turn put back together. Takes approx. 15 min. not like a string through or hardtail. you can leave the strings in the floyd. Uts really easy

Only one detail keeps this from being a five-star guitar
I love this guitar. For the price, you’d have a hard time beating it. It’s a great player as it arrives, or a perfect platform for modifications to suit your preferences. The only negative I’ve found with this guitar as compared to the high-dollar model is that the only way to adjust the truss rod on the economy model is by removing the neck from the guitar. This would make any set up work that requires truss rod adjustment a huge inconvenience. If that one issue could be addressed by the manufacturer, this would easily be a five-star guitar in my opinion. Even with the truss rod access issue, it is still definitely worth the money.
