Exactly What I Wanted
I had two other brands of mouth guards and both were just too big. Granted, the offered a lot of protection but at the expense of not being able to talk, drink, or breathe as effectively as I wanted. This mouth guard is MUCH smaller and I have none of those issues with it. I can't speak to the level of protection it offers but it was easy to mold, it stays in, and it doesn't bother me at all.

Great mouth guard - follow the instructions
Great mouth guard from Shock Doctor.I use this for roller derby.I absolutely love the design of it. It was hard finding a cute design for my mouth guard that was different than what the other ladies have. The fit it nice and I truly feel that my teeth are protected.I will say it is important to follow the instructions to a T. Molding this mouth guard was different than others. You do NOT need to get the water boiling hot as you do with other mouth guards. In fact, you’ll mess up your design if you do. I used too hot of water the first time molding this one and it definitely went super flimsy and messed up the front design. Luckily, I realized my mistake and looked up a “how to video” from shock doctor. I remolded it and it worked fine. I’ll most likely buy another shock doctor mouth guard down the line but feel I still have a lot of life left in this mouth guard.The fit is very snug, it stays in place easily during derby practice. I can talk with the mouth guard in and have no trouble breathing. It’s low profile and I have no issues. It’s a good value for your money.

Took 3 shock guards to get the right one. This one didn’t lose its shape like the other ones. And yes we followed the instructions to the T. I will say the design on it isn’t printed on the guard. It’s more like a film/sticker on it. Easy to talk with it. Has a enough gel for a somewhat decent grip

Too small
Did not fit my 14 years mouth even though states 11 yrs to adult it was too small and he’s of average size for his age

Great for Rugby
My teenage son uses this for rugby and likes it a lot. You can speak clearly and easily with it in to your teammates which is very important for the game. His teammates recommended this brand.

Horribly unclear instructions that don’t even work properly
This mouth guard sucks. The instructions are very unclear, and even when you follow them perfectly, they do not work properly. Had to put it in boiling water to get to be pliable and once I finally did, the design on it came out looking messed up. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a venum mouth guard, this one is NOT worth the money.
