Good quality plastic, ease of installation, looks awesome (especially with a light under it)
This shell replacement is pretty awesome. Everyone that sees it asks if it's a factory shell, and I tell them no. The stand arm thing works as well as the factory one (which isn't well, but serviceable).Soft feel:No. It feels like an old GBA SP with that hard ABS plastic. Not sharp, doesn't cut your or hurt in anyway, but it is not coated in soft touch like the factory JoyCons are. That being said, no sharp edges, it doesn't feel like cheap bottom of the barrel plastic either. It feels quality, kind of like an upscale car interior, Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac plastics, not Toyota, Scion, Honda, Chevy plastics. I hope that makes sense.

Great Quality
Great product. Installation was straight forward, I could see it being difficult if you don’t have a familiarity with game console assembly. Everything fits well together, nice finish, good rigidity to the plastic with just enough flexibility to get everything to sit right. Would recommend.

Great looks and high quality
I’d never heard of this brand before, so I was a little trepidatious going in. I was very impressed with the overall fit and finish. The plastic is of high quality and feels durable, and the molds used are precise with close to OEM tolerances. There’s not a lot of overflash on the seams, so no sharp edges that would make it uncomfortable to use. I like that they include a set of all the screws and springs you’ll need, as I definitely lost one of the springs that braces a trigger while doing the swap.Installation is time consuming, but if you take your time and pay attention to the instructions, you won’t have problems. I recommend also checking out iFixit for some additional resources. As for gripes, there aren’t many, but chief among them is that the plastic where the screws go into is a little soft. Be sure to not over torque any screws as a result, stop tightening right when you feel a little resistance. I also wish it had come with replacements for the thin black shrouds around the joysticks, but I was able to harvest those from the old joycons.

Awesome great quality case
Great product my only disappointment was that my stand was broken and this new kit doesn't come with the metal piece that makes it stay in place, not to mention it also doesn't come with a new game slot cover which is why I took one star off. The quality of the shell is excellent and the fit is perfect it is very functional and the color matches nicely. Very easy to assembly the only problem I had was with the joycons because that Z cable was annoying.

Feels great
The shell is perfect and looks clean, the back cover is really easy to install however the joycons will require more tedious work. Definitely watch a tutorial for installation, other than that it made my switch feel brand new.

So far so good!
It was super easy to take apart and put together. The instructions on their website are helpful, though I was able to do pretty much all of it on my own. The finish on the plastic is nice and definitely has better grip than my worn out original shell. There is a little bit of a lip between the bottom of the back shell and the switch itself, but a light sanding/filing on the edge makes it flush with little effort and it doesn't impact anything in any significant way to not make it flush. The plastic itself feels durable enough to handle typical wear and tear as well. My only major gripe is that the screw tips provided don't always hold up against the screws (particularly the Phillips head), but I think that has more to do with how my joycons were manufactured as a few of the screws were especially tough to remove and the method used for these plastic molds isn't exactly conducive to repetitive screwing and unscrewing. I also wish the color order on the buttons matched, though that's more of a personal preference and I could probably Jerry rig it to change the order if I really wanted to.Don't mind my joysticks, they're next on my list of to-do's. In hindsight I probably should've just replaced them along with the shell swap, but they don't have any drift issues and I just need to replace the rubber grips.Definitely considering getting more colors in the future as long as this one holds up!

Great for the price!
Took a few hours to install but worked out great! I removed the RF shield (first generation switch) and cut out the section that mounts under the SD reader so that it would mount appropriately.

Be gentle
I think had two cosmetically broken Joy Cons and decided that was sufficient excuse to do this project. They look fantastic. I particularly like the clear black color with the black faceplate. The install was easier than I thought. It does require a fair amount of screwdriver work and a steady hand, but if you can attach a ribbon cable, you can reskin a Joy Con. I see some reviewers complain the plastic is too hard. At least on mine, fhe plastic was soft, so be gentle. I was able to get nearly all the screws seated. The only one that gave me trouble was the side rail screw. For some reason that hole wasn't grabbing the screw on either one of the skins. I ended up using a yellow screw and a tiny dab of Super Glue to get it to stay in place long enough for assembly.
