Silhouette AmericaSpatula Tool

This is a great and handy little item. I saw it in a video of someone ripping washi tape in a perfect straight edge/line with it and I'm telling you... it does that SO WELL. That in itself is worth the cost because that washi tape can be a bit of a pain depending on the desired outcome or task. It also comes in handy in lots of unforeseen ways (not that I can think of at this moment, but I know I grabbed it last week and thought - this is perfect). If you've stumbled upon this, or went looking it up and are questioning it. I would buy it! It can fit in with a craft desk/display or just in a regular old pen cup. It's sort of the same level as a letter opener in handiness. Does you lower back itch while at your desk? Grab a letter opener (if it's the long thin metal kind.. not those strange small plastic credit card sized ones). Need to impale an intruder? Grab either the spatula or a letter opener. You get my drift. Be it just for washi tape... or to cut open a cellophane shrink wrapped something (think: New CD Sealed up - yea, I dated myself). Go for it! Super great little thing. Or as a gift for the crafty or office supply lover in your life that has most everything. This hadn't shown up on my radar, so it may not have on theirs yet either!

Great for lifting paper off surfaces. I bought it, however, to tear scor-tape off the roll as I apply the adhesive to paper. The flat and angled front edge is ideal for that and leaves a clean edge both on the used tape and on the roll.

My wife loves to craft and because of that, I bought my wife the Silhouette Cameo Starter Kit Bundle from Amazon for a Christmas present. Although she loves it, she found it hard to remove the cut card stock from the adhesive mat when using the Cameo. With the kit, you get the Silhouette Pick Me Up Tool but that really didn't help much. She found that regardless of what method she used (whether the Pick Me Up Tool or her fingers), her card stock would always rip & tear (more so w/ delicate designs).While a part of that reason is because the adhesive mat is really sticky when you first use it (it loses it's adhesive qualities over time), there wasn't a good way to remove her card stock cutouts. I think that really discouraged her (card stock is not cheap). After looking around, I found that this tool is the tool you need when using the Cameo. I bought this for her and she was instantly happy with the ease in which she could remove her cuts without tearing the paper.So if you are experiencing exactly what my wife experienced, I would advise you to get this tool. As it can instantly change the way you use your Silhouette.

What I needed. Price was fine.

This is an awesome tool, it removes the left overs from my mat perfectly. Yes I could have found other methods but I love how portable this tool is, I can through it in my pencil case with all my other tools. The other thing I like about it is how easy it is to hold, very ergonomic and easy to place in different directions in my hand and still work perfectly.

works well, very handy

This is a must have got vinyl crafters. I buy it as a gift when any of my friend's get a vinyl cutter. The edge is perfect for sliding under cuts when weeding and I prefer it to most other weeding rolls. It's great for so many things when working with vinyl.

This spatula has a nice plastic handle that is easy to grip and a thin metal slightly sharp spatula end. the spatula is very thin so if you are using it to weed vinyl it is a good tool to separate the vinyl from the backing. I did end up using youtube to get tips on how to use it lol. The package was easy to open too, I did not have to use scissors which was nice!
