Works well in measuring on the ground distances where using a tape measure is impractical. Only difficulty encountered was that small rocks will impede the travel of the wheel. Buying a tool with a larger diameter wheel is a better option.

Yes, it is a little flimsy but it works! Unless you are a professional this is ideal for home use. Very easy to use and store.

I really love this product. When purchasing a measuring wheele, make sure you identify if you want meters or inches. The 1st one I bought was in meters and it was a pain to convert and it was no longer available for a return or exchange so I had to purhcase another one. This one works great! Highly recommend!

We purchased this item to measure out booth spaces as well as projects at our animal sanctuary. It is a lot less heavy duty then similar products I have used in the past. The wheel is quite small, and it does not roll well outdoors over grassy or bumpy areas. Also have issues with arm extension getting stuck and not wanting to expand appropriately.It works in a pinch, but I would not purchase again.

Solid construction with easy mechanical reset for distance

I ordered one of these, when I received it and opened the box an unbearable stink washed over me. It smelled like an electrical fire happened inside the box. Just a toxic chemical repulsive smell. Furthermore, when I put it back into the bag it comes with, the zipper popped off.So I thought it was a one off problem, and asked for a replacement be sent. I got that today and the same horrible smell. Didn't even take it out of the bag this time, I don't want to touch it.If I were you, don't buy this. The smell gets on your hands too if you handle the thing. It wouldn't wash off, the smell finally wore off a day later.
