Wouldn't buy again as pellets to large
I only bought a small quantity to see me through the rest of the winter as I only have a few fish & they don't feed much over winter. Although the pellets are mixed sizes they are still around 5-10mm so only around half of them are small enough for my mix of medium & small shubs & goldfish to take whole. For now I'm picking out the smaller pellets to ensure the smaller fish get a chance. I'd quest they would be better for Koi. For that reason I wouldn't buy again and intend to return to feeding my previous brand in the spring which do a 4mm pellet summer food.

GOOD STUFF
Excellent free dellivery service came next day. Buy these wheatgerm pellets every winter season for the koi carp in my pond as the water temperature drops below 50f they need an easy digestable feed, they are a very good product also the one that has spirilina which this product has and at a very reasonable price.

Good wheatgerm food at an affordable price.
For a change there was no big plastic tub to try to get rid of, the item came within a bag inside a cardboard box. Unlike some previous Wheatgerm foods I have bought the fish seem to like it. I have bought more expensive wheatgerm koi food in the past that my Koi have not liked and have ended up fishing it out of the pond uneaten. Just in case your Koi don’t take a liking to this one it is very well priced. As most of my Koi are fairly big the size of the pellet is good, but may not be the correct size for smaller Fish.

Good size for larger fish.
All good, fish enjoying the food. Nice size for larger fish. 6mm pellets. No problems with health, and waste does not appear to be causing any issues with algae.

Winter koi food
I fed this to my koi over the last winter months, all the koi came through winter fine, all looked fine, no wounds or sores, so I will definitely be feeding them the same this winter.

Very large pellets that my goldfish and shibumkin fish spat out.
Did eventually eat them. Found I had to soak them for a couple of hours and they swelled up to twice their size! presume that the fish could not swallow the large size of the pellets. My fish usually eat another brand of wheatgerm food and they do not seem to have the same sort of problem with them.

Ideal size pellets
Arrived quickly, smaller pellets more acceptable to the several varieties of fish in pond and unlike some wheatgerm food was eaten immediately.
