High quality and stunning replica!
A girl is so happy with her purchase!!! This iron coin is stunning and I dare say, an exact replica of the coin given to Arya. I, from this day until my last, will carry this coin in my pocket. Valar morghulis.

AWESOME! And only order from SHIRE POST.
SHIRE POST. Shire Post. Shire! Post! Most importantly - read the fine print. Shire Post Mint hand makes these (and seemingly other awesome) coins. They personalize the exterior packaging. And interior. The mint master (Tom Maringer) signs it. It's quick shipped and beautifully packaged.Do not waste your money ordering from other vendors. They are NOT the coin pictured, nor are you getting the licensed version. Even more so as these can't be easily returned (as they're not PRIME backed). This is not a sales pitch, rather a plea to not get ripped off.The licensed version - per above - is beautiful. Terrific quality, love the aging effect, and small enough to take anywhere while being a great collector's piece. Bought this for my wife who absolutely adores it. I can't believe it was this affordable. I'll definitely be looking to buy more stuff fromTom and Co.Well, off to find a face. Or a man with many of 'em.

Fantastic item. I obviously bought it as I'm a huge fan of A Song Of Ice And Fire, but also got it as fiddle item that I rolled through my fingers at my desk. The pressing is clear, and looks great. I'm not sure if some of the highlights are etched or patina'ed, but the give that vague outlier of a face on the hooded side. The reserve side is beautifully pressed and looks like it could be a genuine coin from a long lost past. Playing with it, you do get the "copper penny" smell. However, the item is highly magnetic, so I'll assume it really is pure iron. It was placed in a thick stock card, and it's great. It really let's you connect to your inner 'nerd,' and I say that proudly, as one. I would love to look into their other item, and can only imagine how impressive they are as well. HIGHLY recommend Shire Post Mint items.

Amazing Great Product and Service! Make sure you buy straight from Shire Post Mint!
So after I received a counterfeit one(was a necklace pendant and not the coin) in my first order I did another order, this time I made sure SHIRE POST MINT was the seller. What I received in the mail was pretty freaking awesome. It was a letter with my name hand written on the front and sealed on the back with a valar morghulis stamp(wax?). The only downside was this was purchased as a gift for my coworker but has my name on it. Oh well. She said "I'll always remember who gave it to me." with a smile. Shire Post Mint has made 100% a lifelong customer out of me.

All men must die, and those who made this coin have indeed served
It's a coin, not a medallion, and promoted as such, with an honest description of its diameter (not radius), one inch. In the pocket with your American pennies and nickels and dimes and quarters, it will virtually disappear until looked at with focus. So I feel somewhat guilty in knocking a star off because it's small. Quite arguably it's more authentic as sized. Some big honking expensive-looking medallion would make a friend of the Faceless Men much too conspicuous. It is as the FAQ and reviews describe, well-made with adequate detail on both sides — appropriate to a somewhat worn but carefully kept-track-of coin. I can't opine on the metallurgy, but neither do I have complaints about that. But the truth is, I wish it were a little bigger. And fair or not, I'm just disappointed enough by that to knock off one star. If I had a choice, I'd only knock off half a star, but Amazon doesn't permit that choice. But I'm not sorry I bought it — four stars for a relatively inexpensive (but concededly frivolous) novelty item is still a high recommendation.Yes, if ONLY it were larger — but if you accept its realistic and authentic size, this novelty item certainly deserves 4-1/2 stars, and maybe 5. If it ever gets me on a boat to Braavos, I'll definitely come back and revise my ranking to five stars.

Nifty gifty
I bought 2 of these 8 years ago, one for a gift and one for myself. They've held up. I keep mine as a bad luck charm and it serves. These were made in NW Arkansas ( Apparently like the next town over from me?) which is very shire like so there's an air of fantasy authenticity.

A man is pleased with his purchase
Pretty much exactly what I expected from the pictures. While I agree that it is a little smaller than I would like, that doesn't detract from the quality at all.It has a decent weathered look to it but still looks pretty artificial. I plan to carry it around though and I'm sure it will just look better and better as time goes by.Be warned though, iron by nature rusts very easily so be sure to keep it away from moisture if you remove it from the plastic sleeve it comes in.The paper with it is both a certificate of authenticity and opens up and has a description of the coin, how it was made, what it says and even a exert from the book from when it was described.

Nice thin coin.
I like it a lot, now to find the house of black and white. 😎
