I love this product
I love this product. Powerful, cuts perfect uniform fries. I bought the additional blade so I could make the smaller fries as well but use both frequently. Not really hard to clean at all. Not hard to take apart to clean and not hard to put back together. Easy to change blades. Love to use it to cut a large number of potatoes to make freezer fries. Would buy again anytime. It is big though so probably not something you would want if you want to keep it out on your cabinet, but I don't know any reason to keep ones fry cutter out on the cabinet unless you use it every day

Not perfect but better than expected
The media could not be loaded. I read some reviews on some other potato cutting machines and was not too impressed, but also realized that there were not a lot of really good videos on the products being sold so I decided to make one for this product. Most of the parts seem pretty decent enough, but the cast metal cutting plates were a bit of a letdown (I thought they would be solid steel), but at least they’re not plastic. The machine is pretty easy to disassemble for cleaning, but some parts may not be as easy to clean mostly because they’re not removable like the mechanical push plate mechanism. The push plate part that touches the potato is removable and cleanable, but the plate that’s behind it is part of the machine and if potato got in there, it would be a little hard to clean out. I wouldn’t recommend putting any parts in the dishwasher at all. There’s no Hall effect sensors, or any protection against smashing/cutting your fingers off in this thing so I wouldn’t recommend letting young children operate this machine at all. Honestly, I think some adults should not even use this machine LOL, so if you’re one of those accident prone people this is not the device for you. My best recommendation would be put one hand in your pocket at all times, use the other hand to put a potato in the machine close the door and then use that same one hand to operate the controls. Never put more than one hand near this thing when it’s in operation and or plugged in. The machine seems solid given its plastic construction, but it’s not too heavy for someone to easily move from one part of the kitchen to the other. Let’s just say it’s a lot harder to move a Cuisinart or Sunbeam mixer than this machine but it is still a lot heavier than a toaster. I don’t quite know how well it would cut potatoes, but I didn’t see another video review showing potatoes being cut so I don’t think that’s going to be an issue. If there is an issue with cutting potatoes, I will update this review. Given from what I know now I would buy this unit again just from the fact that it has a Usted power supply and construction is pretty sturdy and the motor seems pretty strong, let’s just say that I was unable to stop it with my hand for a brief moment just to see how strong it was (with the cut plate removed, of course ) and it doesn’t seem like anything‘s gonna stop that motor, the motor didn’t even sound like it was being bogged down no matter how hard I pushed back on it so that motor is really strong, like hydraulic press, strong! I have a handpress unit that does the same thing but it is made out of plastic and I think I’m gonna break the thing when potatoes don’t go through easily. Plus, I’m getting a lot older now and it’s getting harder to push those darn potatoes 🤨 I do not think that will be a problem with this machine any more.

Easy, fast, perfect E-French Fry Cutter.
This is the best purchase for the kitchen that I have made in a long time. My family loves home cut fries, but I have always had to prepare them by hand because I couldn't find a cutter that worked well. They either broke or were so difficult to use that my husband would have to push the potato through. I'm talking small potatoes! When I checked this one out, I thought it was a little pricy. But I was wrong, wrong wrong! All you do is open the lid, drop in the potato (any size) and push the button! The potato doesn't have to be positioned in any way (like other models). You don't even have to peel it. It takes me a few minutes to cut 10 potatoes! I also found another use for it. After the potato runs through the cutting plate- dice it into squares. It's perfect for soups or fried potatoes. I am so happy with my cutter. It has saved me so much time....and the fries are so pretty! Thanks Morgles! (How about a potato chip cutting plate).

Worth the money, easy to use.
I love this 1/2" cutter. i think the 3/8 blade would be too small for most things. I did a lot of research before i bought this electric one. i have bad hands so anything that can make my life easier, i think is worth the cost. most people said when cutting sweet potato you need to nuke 3 minutes, however i only did 1-2 minute (depends of size of potato) and it worked great. (you do need to nuke because the machine will struggle and maybe break). it is a breeze on regular potatoes (no need to nuke them). i cut up a 10 lb bag of white potato in like 5 minutes. it took more time separating the fries by size and vacuum seal into meal size bags. (There is only two of us) i did not have any waste, the smaller side and end pieces got cut up for hash. depending if you don't care how small your potato pieces are for potato salad, i first run the potato in the slicer once and then i cut that potato in half when it comes out of machine and then put it back in machine sideways and run it again. that way the potato is cubed small. sometimes i still have to cut smaller for my potato lumpia, but it saves me time starting with small cubes.i also cut up zucchini for baked breaded zucchini sticks, so good.cleaning is a little bit of a pain because you have four screws and washers (12 little pieces, so easy to drop in the sink) on the front of blade to take off before you can get the blade off to clean. but after that its easy. you just hang the machine over the sink to spray the pusher off (use a toothbrush for the crevices) the blade was also easy, just be careful. DO NOT let things dry on the blade, i can see where it would be really hard to clean then.
