Spy Tec Replacement Mount - A118 , A118-C, B40, B40-C Dash Camera

the replacement mount is nice to have if you want the flexibility of using the wedge-style cameras like the A118 and B40 in a second car. The double-sided tape is the same type one gets when buying these cameras and the string is to help with removing the mount when it is attached to windshield. My wish would be that we'd have an option of buying replacement tape only, like 4 pieces for the same price.

I've purchased this before, received 2 sets, but couldn't find where I put them when a family member needed one. Re-ordered, and they just received the plastic, with no tape...on top of it, the order gives me a "This item isn't eligible for return." message...

i had the original mount in my other car, bought a new mount July which was 3 months ago. The adhesive failed. It doesn't stick.The one that cam with the camera the first time is still perfect.

Though a little pricey for a sticker and string, it is needed if you want to move your dash cam. It works as expected as an extra.

It Fits my dash camera. I just wanted it for using it in another car. But it was not needed because I used the dual lock fasteners to attach the dash cam to the windshield. Easier to remove and replace.

Not much to say, very good quality.

The secret here people is to make sure you you can plug and unplug the camera and attach and unattach (with the USB cable attached) BEFORE you attach it to your vehicle. I did that the second time. lol. I think they included a second tape as well so that's nice. I used it to take one camera between two cars saving me dollars!!!

Great replacement pad for my dash cam.

Advertised as a mount and a spare adhesive, what I got was a mount and a string with a screw. What am I supposed to use the string and screw for?

These mounts are just like the originals. I wanted to re-position my A118 and the 3M tape can not be taken off and re-used. I tried to find 3M double sided tape the right width and black, but couldn't. The tape I could find was kind of a gray color and was too noticeable on the windshield. It was easier to just buy these and do it right. I bought 2 so I'll always have another one if I sell my car and take the dash cam with me.
