Accelerate the healing process and reduce recovery time with The Orthopedic Guys Short Air Walker Boot! This walker boot is engineered to relieve pain and promote healing for a variety of foot and ankle injuries including soft tissue injuries and grade 2 & 3 sprains. The boot also helps patients after a surgery with postoperative stabilization, taking strain off the ankle or foot. Reduce swelling, strain, edema and pain of the foot and ankle and see why thousands of orthopedic doctors in the US prescribe this model orthopedic boot. Comfort and SupportThe air walker boot is carefully designed to protect the body while providing superior comfort and support. The soft front opens entirely so that your foot may be placed gently in the boot and then easily taken off after use. Velcro straps across the front ensure the foot is enclosed and secured in the protective boot. The lightweight, wide rocker bottom promotes a smooth, energy-conserving gait, making it easier for the patient to walk without exerting additional effort. How a cam boot aids in recoveryCam means controlled ankle motion. A cam boot serves to control and minimize ankle movement so the damaged area is protected throughout the healing process. This allows the patient to go about their normal day to day activities and continue to walk with peace of mind. The compression of the boot allows for maximum stabilization as different swelling patterns occur throughout the patient’s recovery. Sizing and FitThis ankle boot is a versatile design that fits the right or left foot of men, women, adults, and teenagers. This is a low top, short boot that is good for all sizes and both wide and narrow feet. Find your perfect size, check out the sizing information on the 2nd image. Continue wearing your normal shoe on your other foot.

Happy patient recommendation.
As a physician, I see boots like this come and go on a weekly basis through my office. I ordered this boot based off a patients suggestion who had a great experience with the product and I had to check the product quality for myself. It's light, durable, and most importantly comfortable to my patients. I will continue to recommend this product.

Great boot, comparable to much more expensive boot
Great boot, comparable to much more expensive boot!I have worn the boot for a week. I ordered this after having a $300 plus boot that was too long for my leg (I am short and it impeded my knee movement.) The insurance would NOT pay for another boot so I ordered this online since the other boot was creating a knee injury. The first day I wore it wrong because the instructions need to be clearer. It did squeak and make noise the first day or two (as one reviewer noted), but once it's worn in it stops. I didn't realize at first the extension of the padding on the toe bends back and there is velcro to make it stick. I really like this feature as it protects your socks from dirt and makes the fit snugger and tighter. The other boot I had also had a way to "pump air into it" but you had to take the pump with you and I kept it at home afraid I would lose it....but when I needed to repump it throughout the day I couldn't. With this built-in one I can. Also, with this boot, I can drive safely and the other one I couldn't so I had to remove it each time I needed to drive and that was both a burden and made my time int eh boot less effective. This is an amazing boot and it the best example of why we need the FREE Market in medicine and every area---literally less than 1/10 of the cost of the other boot and so far it's as good or better than the other boot! Be sure to keep the three inserts they provide. These are wonderful to help fit the boot snuggly. Thanks Orthopedic Guy!!!

Best boot for price and quality!
Sprained my ankle and tore some ligaments New Years Eve night...Good times! This boot literally saved my butt. My husband is an OTR driver and I have no family nearby. So no help for me going to the grocery store, doctor etc. Driving sucked but this boot was like heaven when I had to walk. Very adjustable and the extra little pads helped greatly on my very sore bruised spots. I would definitely recommend this boot, and believe me I researched the crap out of these boots before I bought this one! I slept with the sleeve on my foot because I couldn't keep my foot straight in form like it needed to be at night...absolutely no problems doing this. Helped a ton doing this! Easy to clean and didn't mark my floors up. Shipped fast and would certainly buy again!

Easy to take on/off, very comfortable, not that heavy at all..
LOVE this boot. I broke my ankle and needed a boot.. Not as heavy as I predicted. The dogs etc. can bump into my leg and it doesn't hurt one bit. (thank god) The outside plastic is strong, the inside is smooth, doesn't really bother my skin. (but I'd still recommend wearing a sock or something underneath because over time naturally your skin may chafe a little)... It airs up just in case you need more support after swelling goes down which is very easy to air up/down. Very easy to take on/off and liked that they sent extra velcro and pads just in case you have to reapply one or the other. Overall, sturdy comfortable boot, worth the money for sure.Size: 7 1/2Bought boot size: SmallFits great

Great boot!
I've been wearing this boot for 3 days now, and am very pleased. I have plantar facsiitis, neuropathy, and have had two surgeries on my left foot. I've tried other boots, and this one is much more comfortable, while still providing relief. Another big plus, this boot was significantly less expensive than the local medical supply store, and is even better constructed. This is the only one I've tried with an air pump, and it makes it fit perfectly. I definitely recommend it!

Easier To Get On, Good Quality
I fractured the fifth metatarsal of my foot and was prescribed a TLC Top CAM Walker boot. The two are pretty much identical. What I didn't like about the TLC one is that the buckles where you loop the velcro through are so stiff that it's difficult to bend them outward to get the velcro thru. I don't run into that problem with the one by The Orthopedic Guys. And I'm all for whatever makes it easier to get this thing on.It provides good support and has the needed rocker sole. As the Walker Boots add significant height to your leg, be sure to get something like the ProCare EvenUp Shoe Balancer for your other shoe to add height to it. I was without the balancer for the first couple of day sof wearing the boot and my back was hurting from the uneven height and limping. I also bought a MyShoeCovers 1 Fracture Walking Boot Cover to keep the Walker Boot clean when outdoors.

Comfortable but runs bigger than the size chart indicates. Order a smaller size.
Fast shipping!! This boot saved my life. I dropped the vacuum on my foot and have a metatarsal stress fracture from it. I am six months preggers so no fun at all! Since the doctors can do nothing about it I ordered this boot and I can walk on it with assistance of a cane or crutches. 4-6 weeks with this boot and I should be good to go. It’s comfortable but I ordered a small. I am a size 7.5 woman’s shoe size. The size chart in the description is incorrecet. The correct size chart comes with the boot!

Working
So I am 5 weeks into an ankle break. My doctor had me wear the tall air cast boot that he has at his office. It worked great. Now at 5 weeks doctor says I can start putting weight on my ankle. The boot he gave me was very heavy & big. I looked on amazon & found this one. It was cheap & reviews were ok. I got it yesterday 2/13/19. It does not look like what is pictured on the site. But the boot is lighter & easier to walk with than my huge air cast boot. It also is not a air cast boot. It has Velcro tabs you put in for comfort. I find it easier to put on the lining first then put in the boot & secure. It will work fine for the next couple of weeks. After two weeks I can begin wearing a shoe. I would not recommend this boot at the beginning of an injury. It does not have the enclosed cast support like the ones you get from your Orthopedic. But it’s fine for 5 weeks & beyond👍🏼
