Bought these mainly to use when sailing. I've only worn them twice so far, but they seem great.* Good, comfortable but secure fit on my normal sized head. I've never wished they were tighter or looser.* The polarization is great -- reduces glare from the water, but I can still read important things like my iPhone screen and digital instrument readouts.* Light reduction is a little stronger than what I believe is average. They're great on the water in bright sunlight. They would probably be great snow skiing on a sunny day, too. I have never wished they were darker. Although I haven't used them in cloudy or partly cloudy conditions yet, I suspect they might be too dark, but they might surprise me.* I can't say anything about scratch resistance or durability at this point. If I notice anything that isn't satisfactory, I will update this review.One thing bothers me a little: The description I read before buying them led me to believe that the blue mirrored lenses were neutral in color. Not so for me. The blue mirrored lenses I received give everything a definite brownish or light rose colored tint. That's not a deal breaker for me because the color does an excellent job of increasing contrast, and I think it might even make them work well on cloudy cloudy days. I quickly adjusted to the tint, and it doesn't bother me. I only point it out because it could be a deal breaker if color accuracy is important in your application.All in all, great quality for the price. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better value in polarized sport sunglasses anywhere.

The “copper” lens does a good job of mixing brown / red and providing good protection without being too dark (wear with a hat to block direct sun).While the “copper” does create unnaturally vivid colors in the sun, it’s also pleasing to hike with and edge-enhancing. Colors in direct sunlight were much closer to that after a rainstorm with cloud cover.The glasses fit my rounded skinny-nosed Caucasian face well (better than similar Carhartt glasses) with no annoying light leakage.Glasses were relatively inexpensive and came with both a soft cover and hard case. As shown in the video the frames are incredibly flexible and I’m hopeful they last for a few years (scratch resistance untested).

I bought these sunglasses for driving in bright conditions. The polarized lenses help reduce the glare coming off of other cars.These glasses are very light and comfortable. I have skin that is sensitive and easily gets red impressions when wearing glasses for extended periods. However, these glasses are so light and the nose pads are so comfortable that I can wear them a long time without issue.I do wish that the ear pieces felt a little more snug around my (admittedly small) head. I feel like if I used these for sports or physical activity, they might fly off my head. However, as I use them mostly for driving, they are great.The case is good, but a little large for these particular glasses. The glasses rattle around quite a bit in the case. However, the case is firm enough on the outside to keep the glasses protected, and soft enough on the inside to protect the lenses.All of these minor quibbles likely would be resolved with sunglasses that cost 3 to 5 times more, but for the money, I think these glasses are a great deal.

I bought these because they block UV-A and UV-B rays and I needed a new pair of sunglasses. I prefer the ones that are curved, so that the light from the sides is blocked as well. It's nice for when the sun is coming in from the wrong angle or when the eye doctor has to dilate my eyes. Having hundreds of reviews doesn't hurt, either, so I figured it was safe to say these sunglasses would be exactly as advertised.I didn't care about them being polarized, but it makes such a difference! Everything is so much more crisp and clear with polarization. I usually just wear sunglasses for driving, but I have been wearing these everywhere I go when it's sunny out. And it's sunny quite often where I live! I think the lens color makes me look like a giant fly, but I don't mind it (I got the Ice Mirror lenses). These glasses are very sturdy and don't slip off my nose like my others did, and I have somewhat oily skin on my nose. Even when my face gets sweaty they don't slip off.I wasn't expecting them to come with anything other than a soft cloth pouch, but they came with a hard case and instructions on how to take care of sunglasses. I read through them and discovered I've been taking care of my sunglasses the right way for years, but I guess they weren't of good quality. It's nice to get confirmation that I've been doing things right all these years and haven't been unintentionally ruining my sunglasses.These are light weight. I don't even notice them much when I wear them--except that everything looks different. Even though I'm female, my head is a little on the big side, so I always had a hard time finding sunglasses that were too small (usually women's) or too big (usually men's). These fit perfectly and don't put too much pressure on the sides of my head, which can give me headaches.I am very happy with my purchase!
