Changed my Cricut Life!
This handy little device absolutely changed the way I cricut. I have a Cricut Explore, which of course meant that my laptop was tethered to my machine at all times. I debated for a long time on if it was worth purchasing this adapter because I really had no problems using my set up as it was and maybe I was just being a spoiled brat by wanting bluetooth capability. Finally I bought it and within the first use I was completely spoiled to the freedom of being cordless! I never knew what I was missing! I was also really surprised by how easy it was to use. After reading some reviews, I was prepared for a headache of getting and keeping it connected. However I have not had any issues. I plugged it in and turned on the bluetooth on the laptop. It immediately discovered the device, connected to it and stayed that way until I turned it off. So now I basically have a Cricut Explore Air without the expense of upgrading to a new machine! I will say that when it's connected to bluetooth the machine cuts just a little slower. Not a lot slower, just a tiny bit, enough to notice a slight difference in speed. That's no big deal to me, but maybe some people that have a crafting business that are trying to turn around projects fast may consider this an issue. If I had to guess I'd say you may lose about 5 minutes per hour in crafting time. (Just a guess, not a scientific or tested number) Oh! And also, I love that I can now use the mobile Cricut app on my tablet with my machine. That wasn't even possible before. I would recommend this to anyone that has a non-"air" machine!

"Everything is awesome"
So I was bummed that Cricut just came out with the Cricut Air. What a brilliant idea! Too bad I would never in a million years be able to convince my husband I needed the Cricut Air, since I just got done telling him even though my cricut expression works just fine, I need the Explore. Love the concept of the Air, I have always been annoyed that my computer always had to be turbo close to my Cricut, which cuts down on my paper crafting space. And you all know, we never have enough space. I have seen this adapter, wanted it, but could not rationalize spending $50, I saw that it dropped down to $25, I was all over that. I purchases it right away! Just a heads up, if your computer does not have Bluetooth, purchase a Bluetooth adapter at the same time. I love my set up now! This produce is amazing! It changed my life, I have my crafting space back! This is a must for all of us who ran out and got the Explore before the Air came out. The only down side to this produce is that it sticks out a bit from the Explore, but well worth the small inconvince.

Great way to connect your cricut explore to your laptop / computer
This is such a great little device to make it so you don't have cords running behind your machine. I was always worried that my mat would hit the cord and then would throw off my cuts and I would have to start over. But be aware...make sure your computer/laptop has bluetooth on it. Mine did not and I had to buy a bluetooth adapter (they are not that much...around $15.00...but it will be an added expense). Once I got the bluetooth adapter for my pc up and running correctly and this bluetooth adapter...it worked great. I was using a HP notebook....and windows 10.I also love that now the iPad app for the cricut design studio can do print and cut. It makes this bluetooth even better as you can connect your ipad to your explore machine through that. But I am pretty sure you have to have an internet connection for the bluetooth to work...so if you are going to a crop or something...be sure to bring your cable so you can connect. :)I would highly recommend this device. I love it and no longer worry about my mats hitting the cords. It is such a nice set up now.

More creativity at half the price!
I ordered from Amazon rather than Cricut because I'm a Prime member. I was especially pleased when I discovered that I saved almost $30 by doing so! The same device at the Cricut website is nearly $60 (it might be less by now), so it is definitely a good deal buying it through Amazon. The adapter is easy to pair and it makes cutting a seamless experience. As a general rule, the Design Space app works faster on my iPad than it does on my desktop computer. It is nice to be able to send to cut directly from the ipad. I have also noticed that the Design Space program "resets" fonts when you switch from design space app to the program on the desktop computer, even if the font is installed on both devices. This adapter removes that headache because I can send to cut straight from the iPad.Once this is paired to the ipad, I have to remove the adapter in order to send to cut from my desktop. This can create a lag in time, but it will still work either way. I'm very happy with this product!

Great product
I bought this for my mother who has an older version of the cricut, and she is not very technologically advanced, but this was VERY easy for her to use! She literally uses it all the time, it made everything so much more convenient because there weren't sooo many cords involved. Plugging the computer in, plugging the cricut in, plugging the computer into to cricut. With this, it was just plugging her cricut in and she used her ipad wherever she happened to be sitting in the house. She LOVED it. The only negative thing I would have to say is, if you unplug it.. it's easy to misplace. Other than that, it's a great tool and I highly reccommend!

While this is a useful addition to the Cricut if you find you simply can't situate the Cricut near enough to a computer to use the provided USB cable, I found the distance the bluetooth connectivity would work over while connected to either of my Mac's a little limiting, and at times flaky. In the end it was just easier to place the Cricut close enough to the Mac to use the USB cable instead. However, make sure to ONLY use the supplied USB cable, as I found that swapping in any other USB cable I had laying around would result in very poor connections with constant disconnections, often in the middle of a cut. Using the original Cricut USB cable solved this issue completely.
