Holy WOW! The COLORS!
PROS: The colors! THE COLORS! After being so pleased with the standard QX2710, I jumped at the opportunity to buy this monitor, paying a bit extra for the DP capability and hoping to see what kind of 10-bit action I could get (answer, NONE ;_;). Coincidentally, I paid a smidge less for this monitor than the previous one because prices had dropped and I didn't go for the "Perfect Pixel" option. As it seems, I didn't need to! No dead pixels! Huzzah! But yeah, the COLORS! I was not expecting to see such a difference between the standard QX2710 and this one. I swapped cables with my old monitor, not even cycling power on my computer, and upon connection I instantly noticed some orange details on my wallpaper that I didn't notice on the older monitor. The default monitor settings had the brightness turned down, so I bumped those up, turned off Dynamic Contrast, and then proceeded to launch FFXIV.The differences were subtle at first as FFXIV isn't one for heavily saturated colors, but when they happened, I just couldn't stop saying "wow o_o" over and over again. These colors seriously pop out at you and your eyes just eat up that delectable feast! Also, solid construction. Plastic seems a bit low-density, but I'm not planning on abusing it anytime soon. Will definitely stand up to me moving it around all the time on the monitor arm.CONS: Using VESA for a monitor arm, I couldn't get the clear stand neck out of the monitor like I did the previous monitor. I'm going to have to try again tomorrow or else cut it off. Also, the screws that typically come with your monitor arms are too long for this monitor. Be prepared to use some washers to fill the extra space if you want a solid VESA mount.Second, IPS glow is noticeable on black screens. Very little backlight bleed, though!Lastly, like the original QX2710, the power block is external to the monitor. I really hope this doesn't become a common thing with other monitor vendors because it is super annoying having to deal with a giant power block hanging off the side of the monitor arm.CONCLUSION: Fantastic and brilliant monitor. I didn't think colors on monitors could look this good! Would definitely buy again!

Glitchy, incompatible, no support.
I got this screen knowing I was taking a little risk, but it is insanely incompatible with most devices, particularly docking stations, and it is impossible to find any driver support to help the situation. Additionally, after only 6 months or so a vertical yellow line showed up on the screen about a third of the way towards the middle. Now, nearly one year later, a third of the screen glitches and turns magenta. Wait for a sale on a name brand monitor, this is not a hidden gem or a good deal. You're getting what you pay for or maybe a little less.

Adequate for the price
A lower cost alternative that allows you to delve into higher resolution and screen real estate versus a generic 1080p screen. Image is fairly crisp and only 1 stuck pixel that only is visible under certain conditions. So overall am satisfied with the monitor. The uniformity of the backlighting is the worst that I have seen from any monitor that I have every used. Under most conditions however it doesn't detract from the experience (the screen has so much working area that even though the lower right corner is brighter than the rest of the screen I hardly notice unless looking for it.If I were to do it again, I likely would buy again but would keep eye out for something else if it could be had in this price range.

Pretty Sweet
Mine came with one dead pixel, which is unfortunate but without question I would make the purchase again. I can put up with one dead pixel if it saves me $250+ dollars. The bezel is also not the greatest but I knew that going in. Overall though, I'm very satisfied with the product and the screen is fantastic.

An Excellent Higher-than-Hi-Def Monitor
This is the first monitor that I've purchased with a resolution above FHD (1920 x 1080). The increase from 1080p to 1440p may not sound substantial, but that extra 78% of screen space can greatly enhance productivity as well as make games and videos more enjoyable. The current standard for high definition displays is 1920x1080 pixels, which form a 16:9 screen ratio in terms of width to height. This monitor has a display resolution of 2660x1440 pixels, which also forms a 16:9 screen ratio. That is an increase of 78%. It is also four times the resolution of 720p high definition format. This increase of pixels results in two things: an increase in quality and an increase in screen space, or "real estate."Most newer computer games are perfectly capable of running games at 1440p resolution. Civilization V and Portal 2 are two examples. In Civ V, this increase in resolution allows more of the world to be viewed at once. In Portal 2, it results in more definition in individual objects. To mirror this example, computer programs that are designed to display information (such as word processors and image editors) will have more space for the user to work with, while videos and games with 1440p resolution or higher will look sharper and more well defined. The color looks very vibrant on this monitor, and it can be very bright. In addition to having a high resolution, the monitor also looks good.As a buyer, you should know before purchasing that this monitor was not originally made for American consumers. If you purchase this monitor, you will find that the plug does not look like an American plug. However, the monitor does come with an adapter. In addition, the monitor's menus will be in another language at first, but you should have no difficulty in switching it to English.Overall, this is a very good monitor with a very good price. Most monitors of this size and resolution will cost as least $100 more.
