Tollerances in pivot bolt allows error in angle, but appears to be correctable before tightening.
I have not had time to use this welding, but initial examination shows you should not trust built in stops for angles, but should check with another angle measuring device before tightening the hinge bolt before using. Otherwise your welds could be at an incorrect angle due to hinge pivot bolt clearance that allows angle to be off several degrees. I did not measure how for off the angle could be, but built in stop was noticeable to the eye to be not a right angle without first adjusting it before tightening the bolt. The other fixed angles appeared to be off in the same way without first adjusting angle before tightening bolt.Turns out there is a bit of extra clearance in the hinge bolt, so using fixed stops could be off angle, but you can easily move the hinge point to match correct angle before tightening the hinge bolt. So advising caution with using fixed stop points without making minor adjustment to take up clearance in hinge bolt until correct angle is matched before fully tightening that hinge bolt. But when adjusting to get correct angle, I suspect this will do what it is designed to do, assuming you are working with small enough pieces to be compatible with the power of the magnets in this device. I can imaging using this for materials too large or heavy for it to function without additional support, but suspect this will work for most smaller flat stock, but as I said above not had a chance to actually try this.I only noticed with initial examination the 90 degree angle was off due to extra clearance in the Hinge Bolt Hole. I did not measure the angle after adjusting the 90 degree angle but appeared to adjust to correct angle by moving the joint hinge in the bolt hole. Looked like the other angles were off as well but could be adjusted by moving the hinge bolt in the hole clearance. Most Welders would or should check any angles before welding which then becomes permanent. Assuming most would check the angles and make corrections before they would commit the project to any permanent welding, unless the angle does not require such accuracy. Conclusion, because angle adjustment still needs checked and corrected prior to use, it does take the quickness and ease of use out of such a device that was supposed to have fixed angles built into it. Just saying... Even so, item appears to still be functional after angles are checked and corrected, especially if multiple items need welded with the same angle after angle is set and locked in.Hopefully this is helpful information, and you make an informed purchase after knowing about this minor shortcoming which is correctable before use.

You know you want it
I love this magnet. Makes assembly much quicker and can really hold some weight to it.

The most incredible tool I have EVER owned!
It slices, it dices, it juliennes! This tool, of which I currently own, and knowingly bought several of, despite NEVER having welded before-AND with the added bonus fact that; I JUST BOUGHT A $4 welder from TEMU! is, without a doubt the finest tool I have encountered in my many travels-mostly along the east coast! I am certain I will soon be a master welder(how hard could it be?) when I finally get around to using them for their intended purpose! As a point of fact, I do own nearly every tool known to man, and several unknown, as well! So I certainly know what I am talking about when I say, in terms of construction, aesthetics and general life-enhancing qualities- it is simply the finest you will EVER find. Do not hesitate to purchase for everyone on your list! Even non-welders, and we all know what they’re like, right? So, yeah, maybe not them, but everyone else!
