So far these vents are the cats meow for making small batches of fermented pickles. Also they are relatively small which makes them a little easier to fit in the refrigerator when the fermentation is done .

We used to have an elaborate setup involving plates, lids, washing, covers, smell, more washing... This little cap solves it all! Contains the mess, much easier cleanup. My only disappointment was that the bonus container to hold all the pieces arrived cracked. But no complaints. I wasn't expecting it in the first place. And it still works to keep everything together.

These work really well for fermenting. The only issues we have had are: 1) Finding the little arrow to make sure we have the right end up when assembling was difficult; 2) the gasket is always in the jar when we open the tops (we've tried several different ways of putting them on and they always end up inside the jar). That being said, these work great and fermented items don't seem to mind the gasket issue.

These work well, but it can be tricky making sure the plastic ring seal lines up. Instead, the plastic ring sometimes falls into the fermenting jar. I'd rather have a kit with a plastic seal that stays in the lid so I don't have to fiddle with it.

I would prefer to contact seller directly, but there is no link for that. The set I purchased had 1 airlock DOA out of the box and I had to suck on the others to see which end went into the jar. Seemed to take a lot of effort to get air thru the airlocks. They seem to work for passing gas one way. Wish they had better markings and cleaning instructions.

great product, just what we were looking for. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the "up" arrow is so small it's very difficult to see which way to insert the valve in the cover.

Beginner fermenter - my jars seem to be doing great - just be sure not to overfill the jar...user error, butruins the contents (at least in my case with green beans it did). This Eight piece set is a good deal $ wise.

I am not impressed with this style of lid seal or the bubbler. I have purchased the Mason jar fermenting lids with different style bubblers and was mush happier. The silicone seal in these lids are hard to keep positioned when putting on the lids and leaked.
