They seem sturdy. It remains to be seen whether these goblets stand up to being washed in a dishwasher. I will try to update my post. Not all Stainless Steel is "stainless." The bases stand flat on a granite counter. So far so good! 12/29/2017. Update 1/13/18 - Put these through the dishwasher several times now and they still came out looking great. Often, if something is not of sufficient stainless content, the dishwasher will start to corrode the metal, usually in small spots. Thumbs up!

This stainless steel goblet is divine! I've always had a fondness for things that reminds me of the regal Tudor court, and this immediately striked me as just that! It is simple, yet elegant... and I had to have it!It is made of very high quality stainless steel. The shape feels perfectly at home in my hand, and it holds a very generous amount of fluid. I don't drink wine often, but love a good wine glass. The negative is that they tend to break. With this stainless steel one, that will never pose a problem.It is very easy to wash, and I can even pop it right into the dishwasher if need be. This wine glass is beautiful. It's made from stainless steel and looks elegant. I love that it's unbreakable and I don't have to handle it delicately. I love my wine cold, the stainless steel helps keep it colder for longer. I believe it's dishwasher safe but it's so easy to clean I wash it by hand. Finally, at long last; tis a proper goblet for Thrones viewings and such. Never did sit such a fair and fine wine cup as thee! Oh the joyful days and nights spent quenching ones thirst from this heavy vessel though it be never so so heavy as the head that wears the crown. Though perhaps, should the time come that I be challenged of my wits by Jeoffrey or the like, I may merely wing the hefty chalice from whence thou wretched noise came and hear it nevermore.

Workmanship is superb. A beautify chalice. I use it to hold certain things on my home-work desk. It will last forever and is worth every penny paid. Would be great to drink out of -- but that is not really why I bought it. I bought it for beauty and decoration (with a practical desk function as well).

Solid stainless so it's safe to drink from and you can't snap off the stem like plastic stem ones sold in camping stores

Decent cheap glasses which do the job. No big deal if they break at this cheap price.

Way better than the last pair of s.s. wine glasses I bought from another seller.
